The Firefly companion pet out of Zangarmash. I farmed for days on end, my life was complete once it dropped.
have to of been getting arcanite ripper. becuz i saved my arcanite reaper. so i Duel-wielded them. looked cool
most epic drop ive ever had was back in the day when we had to ride bikes with square wheels to school up hill both ways in 4 yards of snow.... But back to the point i was doing stratholme and right after i got barons horse and then after that i was riding it and random aggro was on me which dropped a krol blade so i was big pimpin with a krol blade and a sexy big fiery horse
Memories...I remember downing Majordomo Executus for the first time.I remember stripping naked and dying to the trash so we could get to the entrance of MC.I remember running the spiral lap around Ragnaros' pit for the first time.I remember the entire event script where Ragnaros is first summoned and kills Domo.I remember farming MC for 2 months, every week for gear to kill him.I remember seeing that big orange mace leave his hands and do the slowest rotations I've ever seen.I remember watching the mace hit the ground and then there was an awkward silence. Finally, I remember teamspeak exploding in cheers, 50+ of us laughing because we didn't know how else to feel.No other piece of loot, kill, reputation gain or anything Blizzard wants to think of could even come close the scale of epicness that happened that night. That night, in an empty Molten Core....you cannot relive them.
My epic loot has to be my Serpent-Coil Braid best mage trinket i have ever obtained,
Orb of Deception, all the way.I love playing with awesome, fun items and back before Burning Crusade, the orb was still fairly rare. When I first got mine (I've gotten quite a few since then), I used it everywhere I went.
By far, I believe the most "epic lewt" I've gotten is the Nether Shadow Tunic. I had been stuck in T4/T5 level raiding for way too long. In fact, I had been stuck there for a month or two before May. And got stuck again right after I transferred to my new server. Sooner or later, I finally decided to leave my more "casual" guild and join a guild with members which were more enthusiastic to raid (that actually used consumables and cared about progression.) After a month or two of being in the guild, I gathered enough RPP (raid participation points) to win it. Both I and my hit rating were happy.
Epic loot I talked about yesterday, but most epic moment would have to be, again, pre-bc. Out farming larval acid for the AH in EPL and a rogue decided to jump me. This was back when PvP gear was earned from titles and etc. And I was sitting in nearly full t2. Some retarded rogue jumped me. Got a death coil off and got him to 15%. He vanished and started to run away, but I had my Fel hunter out and still saw him, got off a CoA, and then the rest of my dots and just sat down and /waved. he died. Normally this wouldn't be that epic. But what started as a standard 1v1 turned into MASSIVE WORLD PVP. I had a full raid of alliance vs what looked to be around a full raid of horde. It was a wonderful display of what pvp used to be. Random fun outbreaks of war, instead of the daily grind it has become.
