"epic" drop was the annoyingly long quests and stuff for my carrot on a stick. This was on my first character knowing nothing really so off I go through 1k needles. Seeing the quest on my minimap I go to it and get it. Then of course run through Zul Farrak many times before realizing I need a specialy mallet from the Hinterlands. Runrun run up through there (thankfully I had enough gold for my mount). Spending many hours trying to find the mobs and then it drops. So off I runrunrun back to ZF and now on a PUG group we wipe twice on Ghazrilla. It was epic though when we worked together as a team and went through the instance for the first time and killed Ghazrilla and I got my carrot on a stick. Very epic adventure for me.
My new most epic lootz just happened today by getting my first piece of t7, my chest in a ten-man archavon. Rolling a 1, then finding out the only other rogue already had one.Winning epics on a roll of one, thats epic sir.
Happened just today, oddly enough. I was sitting here as my girlfriend fished for Old Ironjaw in IF. I started whistling the LOTR theme song as it had been in my head for the past few minutes. Not 30 seconds later, she says "hey, I just fished up The One Ring." It took us both a minute to put two and two together, but I thought that was neat, and a little bit eerie.
Pre BC I got a Flask Recipe which sold for 2000g which was a TON back then!
Plans: Titanic Leggings from an eternium lockbox. I sold them for 350g, which landed me with just enough to pay for my mage's epic mount training.
Well, I was pretty jazzed about getting my full set of anti-undead epic armor from the Scourge invasion event for my hunter.
One time I found a Depleted Badge (Badge of Tenacity) and sold it for 1200g
My hearthstone. By far, the most-used, most cherished item in my inventory.
Getting cookies stir stick to drop after running my wife's mage through deadmines for the 20th time.
My first epics on my first character when I started WoW well into the TBC was of course... welfare epics. But they did the trick! And these were the best that I had since I didn't do too much raiding :(, but worked great in PVP - the days of mongoose :D
