I have to agree that Argus is already pretty stale... no flying, invisible walls, and invasions that are basically "lets see how fast we can burn this garbage boss down." Hopefully the upcoming raid is good, because otherwise the rest of Legion will be leveling alts and trades... which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but also isn't the most desirable thing either... That being said, the staleness of Argus isn't going to encourage Blizz to release BFA any faster... I'm guessing they will stay pretty consistent and shoot for a release that lets people experience the new content for a few weeks before the holiday events like Hallows End and Anniversary kick in next year.. So probably around early to mid Sept. 2018... Hopefully there will be a fun transition patch that drops mid to late summer to build up the hype and get people back o the game that are inevitably going to leave because Argus gets to boring...
I think end of summer is more likelly. Nobody likes to sell stuff in middle of the summer vacation time. When kids getting back to school and peps stopt travelling that's the time to sell them things. I would expect it around mid september.
At least June 2018, most likely September 2018.
my guess october :)
Blizzard has been very quick this last year introducing new content, and I think that is now their new standard. So I will say the patch will come out around August 7th or 14th.
Allied races will absolutely be released before the new expansion release. No way in hell will blizz release them at the same time people are gearing up the toons they just hit level cap with. It's like saying "hey we know you just leveled up your first 120, now we want you to stop working on your main so you can start leveling another toon from 20", that literally makes no sense. I am going to say they will be released with the pre-patch for people that pre-ordered the new xpac.
Wouldn't make sense adding allied races before bfa cause..zandalar.
Yeah, I increasingly feel like Blizz is going to release subraces present in Legion before BfA, and then add Zandalari/Void Elves once the expac actually drops.
Speculation on release when Legion hasn't even had it's final patch, and Battle isn't even in Alpha.....right
I really want to believe BfA will go live during late Q2, but Q3 is probably more on the money if the novel is anything to go by.
The release date will be approximately 6 months after beta starts, as per usual.
Here's hoping for a summer release. I don't think they can afford more than 7-8 months of the same stuff. Unless they keep adding and adding
my tip is 2018-09-19
Going to be on Argus for about a year, guess it is time to leave and catch up on FF14, it took Blizzard way to long to even announce this xpac. Sorry to say this PAC is sounding like WoD part 2!
Guessing when it's coming out when it isn't even in Alpha.Okay, it got me to click on the link and give page views, but otherwise? Too early to say. Except to say that people that think it's hitting in Spring 2018 are being overly optimistic. Legion was announced, with far more available and detailed information, and a pre-order, in the summer of 2015, and still didn't make it out until Fall 2016. People thinking this expansion is dropping in five to seven months without a beta going are really ignoring the past patterns at Blizzard.
Some people call me a dreamer, but i think late July. If it's November or later i'll lose all my faith in Blizzard ever keeping a promise.
