My prediction is we'll get 7.3.5 sometime during February with 8.0 going live during July with the pre-event and BFA going live sometime september october with Blizzcon 2018 announcing 8.1 and 8.1.5 :)Gamescom may give us pre-order dates as we expect things to be more finalised then. Blizzcon very much was the alpha powerpoint of things we'd like to see and what they have so far. Think of it as a pitch.
i excepted if they not have hard time middle of summer prepatchthier main goal is do more moneyfor more money they need hypes sell lot of gold token sub spikesthat happen with expansionsplus they charge full game prices those expansion so 2 year each custumer will worth 350 eurothier main goal they said at wod .shorten expansion periodsso prbably they dont wana expand time periodsat wod them they busy with overwatch heroes and lot other gamesthey didnt even care wodwith legion they had more time they finally learn a litle from thier mistakesso unless something happen winter expansion is long strechbut becouse of they still didnt fxed thier sheudue and still legion word need ton of betalike they planed 2-3 year back they wont be abble shorten life span expansionso early semptember is most likelybut if everything goes smooth.they can do at agust even 10 day ealer legion so give iliison they shorten expansionsnovamber will be so late destiny 2 dunno what is it.but i think its over tooso till wow expansion they musnt have heavy issues like at wod time we felt like ignoredlegion preoder was opened so early guess they didnt prepared as that much yetif they cando will do lat agust or early september if they had some troubles will be october latei wont give much chances for late novamber
I'd be totally happy if they opened up Allied Races before launch as a way to give people more to do before BfA, but I'm pretty sure if they do it'll be a pre-order bonus, so physical collectors will miss out.
July 2018.Mark your calendar.Edit: Beta in February.
I can 110% guarantee that we aren't going to be spending a year in Antorus. Blizz has made huge improvements in their content lulz with Legion, and I doubt they are going to just fall back into their old ways 1 expansion later. Best guess, July/August. Possibly Sepetember. I would be shocked if it were anything longer than that. The lack of pre order, beta date, raid/dungeon info etc...don't read too much into it. Maybe blizz just wants to release this info slowly over time.
August with a pre-launch event starting sometime in late June, early July would be tolerable. November is way too long to wait.
I love speculation! I think end of August or early September. With the beta opt-in, I think they have more finished than they are letting on. And, they seem to release new stuff right when everyone has to go back to school. đŸ˜’. And they will want it out in time for X-Mas.
I'm pretty sure its going to release late August
I am going to go with August.
I think the most likely window is August/September, in the same ballpark as the Legion launch. A 10 month final raid tier with some filler content/long-tail content nerfs (a-la valor upgrades) will likely come 5 months or so into Antorus, to give us another path to slowly nerf the bosses, on top of upgrading the trinkets which we might be done with by then. Antorus Nov 28, catch-up mechanics/content drought filler sometime in March or April, and then pre-patch in late June/July with a release end of August or September. Seems to line up well enough with the durations of other final patches and announcement to launch windows.
Ooooooooooo! I love charts and pseudo-scientific speculation! This almost makes me want to watch Info Wars. :) I will go way out on a limb here and predict that the Battle for Azeroth expansion will launch at 12:00:01 A. M. Pacific Time on the exact day that Blizzard announces it will launch. I could be wrong but I'm betting on that time and date. :)
The fact that they are saying nothing about release dates, and we can't even pre-order yet, my guess is that Blizzard themselves do not know when it's going to get released. My gut feeling says somewhere around October-December 2018.The sheer amount of things they themselves said were far from finished, the amount of things they said will change, the amount of things they said were in the very early stages, etc. hints at BFA being far from finished, and I think that this is why they are releasing so many things before BFA, that in the past wouldn't be released until the actual expansion got released, because they can't afford having another long content drought, they need the stream of content that has been running steady so far to continue until BFA is released.
I hope we have atleast 6 months before BfA,i am a returning and have to farm gear, get all artifact skins, and need to farm prestige max which probably would take ages :)
Why do people assume Allied races will be in a Legion patch? Its a BfA feature. Bit wishful thinking there.Release will be late summer at the earliest as Blizzard know summer is a quiet time as people go on holiday etc. It also depends what other games will be coming out as Blizzard like to compete with competitors!I'm really worried about a content drought for 2018 as Artorus will last a couple of months then nothing significant to do for 8+ months.
