Same same but different. Every patch is the same stuff in antoher color. Rep for flying. Timegates as "click and wait a week" ( i don't mind timegates in itself, suramar for example was good) Barely a main story to speak off, next to no new transmog, and of course going back on their word...
I could be wrong, but he said no power was tied to Cypher of the First Ones, which is the box of many things v 2.0. This seems to be tied to rep, not to the box. So technically, what he said is correct. (unless I missed something).
The post reads "There are two ways to unlock this second legendary, either by purchasing a legendary belt, or by purchasing a new runecarving recipe."So I already have two legendaries (cov and other) that I cannot equip together. This reads as if I still cannot equip them together unless I do one of the two ways above.
Hahaha but have one idiot care my comment now😉
Didn't they say this place wouldn't be tied to player power? lol what a joke.
But this isnt the only way to get the legendary? Or can you not equip the old fashioned covenant legendary with another one?
If you defend any kind of content that is mantatory, needs to be done everyday for 30min-1h, has zero challenge-level and no reward, then you are just addicted loser in real life. Get serious and stop wasting money and time. You will be happier when you check WoWhead's post just to see new reasons why you should never come back.
Sad... Korthia rep grind all over again...
Easy grind.
Reeee i have to actually play the game a bit to get powerful rewards reeeee /sarcasmGet a grip, tell me one game that doesn't have you grind a currency/reputation for powerful $%^& like this.
There goes the promise that Zereth Mortis won't be mandatory for raiders...
If the zone is anything like korthia was, it’s a big no from me.Korthia as a zone? I’d sooner have had a dance tournament patch. Hell, the voice patch was better.
Honestly this comment section just shows how Blizzard has completely alienated their player base through a lack of coherent game design - something that became extremely obvious with the TW Mage Tower. Is WoW just an instanced boss run where people should be able to log in and do whatever they want with no reference to the larger game world or is it an RPG where playing the game actively develops your character (and character power)? These two approaches are contradictory, Blizzard has been trying to straddle both sides for some time and now the chickens are coming home to roost. Blizz needs to decide which one it wants instead of advertising/teasing one thing and delivering a half baked "solution" that pleases no one.
Its more frustrating to see the concerns of everyone for the lack of testing double legendaries and them gating that testing with Rep grinds on the PTR. Are they serious? How detached and obnoxious can you be to go about it this way?
They should either make gaining reputation with the Elightened extremelly fast, or make this not tied to reputation at all. Otherwise, all of those promises were simply lies.
I think that's the line for me. You could argue that conduits/sockets weren't mandatory, so that rep grind couldve been skipped. But tying double legendarys to it shows me exactly how much they value my time. When I log in I want to do keys with my friends. But now, for at least the first month of the patch, I will have to spend half my daily game time doing some lame ass quests first.
