rofl stop crying over these things, you would want everything free i assume.
Next patch is looking like the ultimate gatekeep, resource farm to unlock a zone ability, which ends up taking quite a few hours, which need to be fully unlocked to obtain flying. Reputation grind behind power, more rares, chests and events that have rng mount drops. They truly want to keep you all subbed till the next expac.
Rep isn’t that hard to do if you actually play the game lol. I was the one who actually did allied races rep way before they were actually put in the game/implemented and before they removed the requirements in bfa. Barely took a month after launch and this was for exalted. This is for revered. Should be much easier and faster. Especially when you’re going through the new zone anyways and doing stuff for them.
Nothing but lies and more lies they give us. I'm suck of their BS. Won't be buying next expansion with this greed, full time FFXIV/ESO player here I come soon.
It's been fun. My subscription runs out in two weeks.
"no player power tied to Zereth Mortis" thx for keeping your word for almost 2 months Ion.
Oh the hypocrisy.....
You know, it's not even the rep the issue, is the fact that they keep lying to the player base. They are gonna keep it rep locked for a couple of months and once playerbase drops, they will make it obtainable through a currency, mark my words.
Tone deaf.
After being told (promised) that the new rep wouldn't be tied to player power this feels bad. Does anybody who's running around on the PTR know what kind of time investment this is going to require?
So I already have a cov legendary and another legendary to equip but I have to earn cosmic flux to buy a recipe or the belt? Huh? What if I already have two?
Morgan Day said as much in an interview. Said the new zone was not going to be tied to power and that it was more lore and exploration focused.
People saying Blizzard said the rep wouldn't be tied to player power: no they didn't. They said that the Cipher of the First Ones wouldn't be tied to player power. This rep and the Cipher are 2 different things. Don't blame Blizzard for your not knowing how to read. And Revered isn't even hard to get on most Reputations. We'll probably have it by heroic week if you actually play the game.
People seem to forget that this is not about babycrying or whatever you want to coin people. The problem is Blizzard stated raiders would not even need to step into the new zone to access the power that Cipher of the First Ones would, in some way, increase a character's performance in the new raid, which, in the end, it is true. However, people had the wrong assumption that they wouldn't need to access the new zone at all (?) to gain power towards the next raid tier. Come on, now, guys, when has Blizzard ever done this? You've always had to do some type of progression on the next tier's zone.As an individual player, I do not mind grinding up to Revered as you normally hit that point when heroic or mythic is released normally. Nevertheless, I do understand people are upset, but it's their own fault. They never stated anything about reputation, just Cipher of the First Ones being tied to character power.
Of course it does......
Shadowlands Fades to Black.

Jesus, all people do is complain.
So close and yet so far... Revered certainly isn't the worst, even if we start at neutral, but it's certainly not a fun realisation, whether we misunderstood what blizz said or there was miscommunication/active lying. At least it being tied to memories means it's unlocked on all alts. But still...
