tight tiiiight
Yeah, this is cool. The further you progress, the better loot you get.
i find it kind of odd that mythic plus loot barely scales up
On the first look i dont like it. No good vault on progress if you just kill a few bosses.
I think currently in game data on beta M+ loot looks like this:upgrade lvl - item level1 - 3822 - 3853 - 3894 - 3925 - 3956 - 3997 - 4028 - 4059 - 40810 - 41211 - 41512 - 41813 - 42114 - 424
I think crafted gear also aligns with the ilvl of bosses 2-4; Primal Infusion takes items to 414, Concentrated Primal Infusion to 427
This looks terrible considering loot isn't created equally and some classes might not get weapons of the last bosses. The only tier this wasn't an issue was in CN because of the tokens.Imagine if a class only can loot their weapons from the first 2-3 bosses, the ilvl difference between them and someone who loots them on the last one is almost 10 ilvls.
Rather loot from the same source be the same IL. Feels bad to wear lower IL gear because it’s got better stats for you
HAHAHAHAHAHA they killed m+ loot.Bye WoW, we will never see again.
More bigger spreadsheets to see what gear is good for your class/spec/talent build thats great news (joking btw) if they are really doing this each boss needs to drop way more loot like 5 items in 10 man and 10 in 20 man even still this is going to be a headache in terms of above (class/spec/talent build) like weapons droping off a 1st vs last boss 10 ilvl diffence thats abit crazy and trinket power oh god the mess of bis lists.
This is a bad change. When the entire raid drops the same itemlevel, it makes clearing the entire raid worthwhile. The change introduced in Ny'alotha to make the last 2-3 bosses drop slightly better loot makes the skips more worthwhile outside of mount and transmog farming, at least. It also makes sense since these last few bosses really are a league of their own in terms of fight complexity or length. But now? Who wants to do the first few bosses when the later bosses are worth more your time? If the raid layout allows for going to different wings/skips, then these earlier bosses will become undesirable at some point. Not to mention that it kills any LFR activity for anything except the last few bosses as well. Casuals will do LFR wing 1 once it unlocks, and abandon it immediately once wing 2 with the better loot becomes available. Repeat for wings 3 and 4.This change would've made sense back in Vanilla, when there was only raiding and only one difficulty. Fighting progressively more difficult bosses, but also better loot - yeah, that makes sense. A casual guild group would slowly fill up all the raidmembers with a certain base itemlevel, and then proceed to the next "tier" of raid bosses. This way, the raid has more longevity. But again, this only makes sense in Vanilla. Today, we have four difficulties and now 16 different itemlevel ranges... why?Blizzard, if you want me to go back to raiding instead of doing mythic+, bring the bonus roll back. This won't cut it.
oh yay, make the loot quality even more inconsistent with varying item levels within the same raid difficulty 🙄
I don't quite see the reasoning why Blizzard had an issue with the current ilvl differences in raids at the moment. This change messes with how Mythic+ gear is valued. In my option, if Blizzard wants to do this, they should probably take off the 2 rank upgrade restrictions that mythic+ gear has from being up to max ilvl, that 14/14 instead of 12/12 to put it at some mythic gear levels. Usually we are capped with valor at the start of the season so having pieces be given that extra ranks wouldn't cause too much problems and it would be put behind a score of 17s-18s if they wanted.
so much for 420. sigh
Taking Group Loot out was the BEST decision every made by Blizzard for Loot. They should not be bringing this back. Especially not without Master Loot and Personal Loot options.
and rnd raids with " insert item " is locked will return yaynot
