431 +20 vault and 434 +25 vault please
Not a bad decision. I like that raid gear pulls ahead from m+. But I still would wish finishing a 17 or 20 key would give you better loot. Because playing with the weekly vault isn't that much fun. And while those keys are usually not as challenging as a mythic raid boss with 20 people, they should reward something a little better
This is going to be problematic if loot tables are not well-populated
As if the loot system wasn't complicated enough already. Figuring out which activity gives which level of reward is already painfully convoluted in this game. Between M+ levels, Raid difficulties, and PvP ranks it's really a pain to figure out "Hey I need better ilvl shoulders what content will actually give me the chance at better ilvl shoulders!" in todays game and this just makes answering that question worse. It's clear the idea is for later bosses to be more rewarding than earlier bosses. But giving every difficulty a range of 4 different ilvls is just a mistake. Having the final boss or two give a slight step up so it's more attractive to attempt them than simply ascending to a higher difficulty is cool. But Even then I would instead be fine with doing away with that practice in order to have more standard ilvl. I don't want to have to consult a spread sheet or look through the journal to figure out what Heroic Boss 3 gives in terms of Ilvl. At present you only need 4 numbers and to remember that final bosses get a 7 ilvl boost from the standard. It's not as simple as I would like but not overly complicated. With this proposed practice of bumping the ilvl every couple bosses there isn't a chance I'm going to be able to remember off the top of my head what ilvl boss 5 of Heroic gives vs what boss 2 of Mythic gives. I'm going to have to look it up. And repeatedly having to look up that info or instead commit A) The starting ilvl of each tier, B) the break points where ilvl bumps occure, and C) the bump amount of either 3 or 4 is just dumb. I don't think this accomplishes what they want it to accomplish and is trending things in the opposite direction of where they should be going. Loot in raids didn't need this complexity added to it.
yay as long as the loot chance is crap, you guys wont feel the difference hehe
you guys have to put sth on the line for those people who does push m+,like higher ilvl for pushing beyond +20? idk just make it work please pushing is so worthless this days
As someone who only pugs, I don't want group loot. I hope personal loot still an option for pug raids, else I'll just do M+ in DF.
The raid was fine how it is in SL the end 2 or 3 bosses giving a bit higher..if every boss gives different ilvl by 3 or 4 levels that feels REALLY bad this is not a good change especially considering things like weapons and trinkets if your loot comes from the first boss and is like 10 ilvls shorter than the end boss of the same difficulty it'll leave you behind until you clear the next difficulty up..which you'll still be punished for this is a very punishing design
I don´t like it. If my BiS ring / trinket / setitem drops on early bosses, it just does not feel good. I don´t even like the last bosses dropping higher loot tbh.
Group loot? RIP PUGs and RIP casual raiding. :(
So mythic pug is now worthless thanks
