M+ needs more of a redesign tbh. It should be choice based. Let us choose what affixes to apply when starting the dungeon. Maybe we have to choose 1 negative affix and 1 positive affix, and have a fixed seasonal affix on top. Also, get rid of keys and let us choose what dungeon to do based on the level of dungeon we have already completed.
The whole bit about “dust” to improve visuals to see mechanics part got the whole “we don’t want to affect everyone” treatment but never actually addressed the real problem and even in his response he sort of avoided the question and said they were going to add features to improve seeing your own character but not an opacity filter for boss/trash or spell affects on mobs and stuff. It seems out of touch with what the question actually was. There is a problem when fyrakk’s wing covers half the arena, or you cannot see 3 magma waves about to smack you in the face on rashok. That being said the opacity on some of the players spells need to be tuned as well. Defile for example… I cannot see anything underneath defile and it leads to a lot of degenerate gameplay where I have to dance on the edge of the defile or risk dying to a mechanic that will either one shot me or put me in range of dying to a one shot. This is more so a problem in mythic plus with random ground affects.
