What's the over-under on Warcraft going all meta and the "first ones" turn out to be the Blizzard devs?
I find it interesting that in the "life" representation of this new chart we can clearly see beast that are found in Sylvarden. It might mean many things, first one would be that the Brokers don't see this chart as "realm" but as representation in a cycle, which is also illustrated by the serpents, the skeletons and the one in flesh. Like the fact that Sylvarden is a realm full of life despite it bein in the Shadowlands. It could also be an hint to the fact that Sylvarden, which is connected to somewhere else ( I haven't seen any confirmation on if it is the Emerald Dream, the mortal world or somewhere we don't know about), could be a mirrored realm of what's beyond the portal. It is also interesting to look at what's represented in the other cosmic forces location. Like that Disorder have both the Legion mark and a Fel reaver, an Infernal as well as a Dread guard. The choices of demons here is complexe. They left Pit lord, Eredar, Sargeras and Dread Lords aside, while they are emblematic species (and Sargeras as an individual) of the Legion. It could both be an hint of the fact that Brokers knew that the Dread Lords were not really working for the Legion or show that they knew that these species are represented in multiple cosmic forces. If we look at the Order side, there is no being represented, only a gear with flame and a symbol that look a bit like what we can see in Oribos and First one's structure. While we can't speculate much on it, it could mean that the First One's that shaped the Death Realm could be alike Titans or even Titans of some sort, like I don't know the Sepulcher could be the final rest of the Titans and they were the one who put Order to the life and Death Cycle. I also find it pretty fun that both Shadow and Light are depicted with what's look like a planet but one is wrapped in light with something that like a bit like a Naaru and the other have tentacles on it and is darkened. Finally for Death, there is the Arbiter, the Symbol of Oribos, chains, flame and the Moon is at the top of it. Also the word "Death" was purposely put on the moon. This seems to strongly imply that Elune is not really of Goddess of life, but rather a Goddess of Death. But again this seen from the Broker's perspective. While nothing about this chart really gives us responses it still gives us questions on what could happen next and what do we have to expect.
get a life. just read a story and don't live a story. this is entertainment and nothing else. other people's creativity. you're not part of it so just relax and enjoy other people's creative ideas as entertainment
Very interesting , I wonder what the void's version of the cosmology chart look like and considering that the void resides outside reality we might end up there as a way to avoid reality's end at the hand of zovaal kinda like how ant-man avoided thanos's snap by being lost in the quantum realm
"Broker perspective" means it's not 100% accurate as well as the Chronicles
I'm not buying anymore Lore books since they change the Lore all the time. I got the first and second Chronicle books but once I heard that the third retconned a bunch of stuff in the first two I didn't but it.I just go to wowpedia if I want to read the lore.
Haha, they found yet another way to milk their fans for money. Simply re-write the lore from the perspective of different races for each book! Would be a shame to have something like that in-game when you can monetize it ;-)
“The concept of death in the Shadowlands is a confusing one.”No kidding! It’s the most poorly written part of the entire Shadowlands lore. What’s the point of an afterlife if the moment you wind up there you can get stomped on by a Maldraxi construct and have your soul permanently destroyed (if that’s what actually happens when you “die” in the Shadowlands which is literally never been explained) like what supposedly happened to Chef/Captain Cookie. WoW lore has had some real doozies over the year but this one takes the cake for sure.
