They could just turn it into a tank spec like everyone wanted.
Augmentation should have been similar in DPS for other classes and not GIGA buff the entire roster. They should have provided slight buffs kind of a little less on the scale of PI but in multiple variations.

I feel like this sort of stupidity is why we have Blizzard nerfing the crap out of classes, in an effort to counter stuff like this that the majority of the player base isn't going to be able to replicate. Can the community just not deliberately try to break the game for a single patch? I know asking to not break the game for an entire expansion is too much, but we can't even go one patch without the community breaking the game, Blizzard overreacting, and then completely gutting entire swaths of the game in an effort to "solve" whatever it was the community tried to break.
Seriously people - the problem is that it multiplies. Aug should be giving a flat buff depending on the Augs stats to 4 players. What you want is DPS player with X dps, and 2 Augs which give bonuses Y and Z - now the DPS player should have X+Y+Z DPS not X*Y*Z DPS. Then it doesnt matter if you bring 20 Augs their buff is consistent and damage profile of the player is controlled.
It's getting weirder with each new patch.
and thats from the developer which had debuff limit in classic. LOL
May be someday they will hire some QA team and actually test theirs product...
They should rework augment to do more personal dps, and treat the buffs to other players as like bonus damage. maybe 1-2% dps increase no more.
