I see the FPS counter in the upper left but do not see any dock or widget or whatever. So I would say it does not work, at least for me.
You know what, i'm not that Hardcore ! player, i really enjoy every single part of it but from what i saw and played, i know Blizzard in WOW don't make anything for granted, they always have a backup story, when they kill a character , it is for reasonEverything in WOW happened for a reason, any turn in any story has a storyLast Patch in WOD or not, i'm sure that what come next is more - for me FUN - and for the other Hardcore :DCome One, Come All!
Hi guys, Viking! from Overwolf here. Thanks everyone for taking the time to check out our app. I'd like to provide some information following feedback on here:1. You can toggle the Wowhead app using Ctrl+H. You can also change the hotkey through the settings (hover over the dock and click the little wrench icon to the left of the dock). The hotkeys will only work in-game, and make sure you don't run Overwolf as admin if you're having issues.2. In case you want to disable the FPS counter that appears at the top corner, just hit Ctrl+Shift+P (same to bring it back).3. As much as we'd love Mac support, it isn't planned yet, as we're currently focusing on Windows.4. You don't need to install Firefox in order to use Overwolf. Overwolf can install flash by itself. The message on the flash installer might be confusing.5. There are definitely NO ADS in Overwolf. What you may experience are the video ads on Wowhead, as we don't use an adblock in the browser. In case you'll minimize the browser rather than close it, it will continue playing these ads in the background. Make sure to hit 'x' once you're done to stop the ads from playing, or you can get a premium Wowhead account ;)6. Overwolf has been around since 2011, supporting the WoW overlay from the get-go. We've never had any issues with accounts being flagged for using Overwolf in any game.In case anyone is having any issues with Overwolf or the Wowhead app, please send us an email to supportoverwolf.com
Well, unfortunately for me, Overwolf won't work. I have tried everything suggested on the overwolf forums to no avail. None of the hotkeys work, the fps monitor is the only thing that DOES work and I don't even want that component. Shame, as I am constantly alt-tabbing, researching wow stuff.
So perc, any guesses on what the next color of Panser's hair will be? Lol
cool! Let's try this!
Wowhead app should be a link to it in the app store, not a download link. Especially when there's a labeled download link right there. That + ads = nope.Edit: Not to mention is this cool with Warden? I thought some other similar in-game browser apps have had issues, but I might be totally mistaken on that.
Screw that...Let's get in bed with the French! Hell they right by our side during our greatest time of need in our dark hour of history. So I think they should be the first and only people to get news about WOW first.
did you really think they would make an app without adds to grab cash :Dcan't blame them tho, they learned from the best after all 3:)
FYI if any of you start having issues running WoW in windowed mode, it is likely overwolf causing it. I ran into an issue where the screen would flicker when clicking on something on my second monitor(the same way it does when you're running wow in full screen mode and you alt-tab). Uninstalling Overwolf fixed the issue immediately.
How can I change language in wowhead app? (need http://ru.cuckhead.com/ for search page)
They didn't really say it was the last patch, they said it was it was the last raid. So there might still well be more content, just in a smaller patch.Saying that Blizzard's communication is just awful. Awful.I don't know who is pulling the strings over there (no one?) but they really need to get it together. Not telling their customers what is coming in the future is counter-productive.Sure, they probably don't want to make promises they might break - that's just bad management and bad communication - but giving people no idea causes speculation, despondency and negativity. They should also communicate on their own forums, not twitter. Since last Friday's interview, there has been nothing. Radio silence. Either their are running around like headless chickens in HQ, being told to keep quiet till it blows over, or just plain incompetent.Talking of misplaced communication, why don't you (wowhead) take comments from your Wowhead forums on this video rather than YouTube,. You know, the forums here, where your user base hangs out. Did you learn from Blizzard?
Eh, I'd rather not have another program running just so I can access wowhead in game. Rather it be an addon you can install into the game instead.
Wanted the app but overwolf asked em every 10 seconds to download flash player for firefox plugin but it worked fine without it so had to uninstall... will have to wait for curse addon because overwalf sucks!
In-game advertisements that I can get rid of by paying for a premium Wowhead account? Sounds an awful lot like what happened with Carbonite back in Wrath. Doesn't this break Blizzard's add-on policy?
