Guys, your opinion on multiboxing does not matter. It is currently allowed so it shouldn't be banned.Because you hate someone in real life, doesn't mean that they should go to jail for an unfair reason. You should never support this because if it happened to this guy, then it could happen to you as well. You can campaign as you want against multiboxing (changing the rules), but don't let your envy and resentment justify an injustice (being banned despite respecting the rules).
I do not Multibox and I don't like to be around multi-boxers for obvious reasons. But they have clearly stated it's not against TOS multiple times. The MBxrs here are 100% right provided they didn't use anything else but the MB.
This is what gets you people march? Not the whole China situation, not the fact that employees can't even afford to eat, not the mass layoffs, but this? During a global pandemic? You didn't even wear masks did you. This community is pathetic.

It appears to me that they were using a botting software. Anyone caught in cooperation at the time of activities where cheating or hacking is involved shares a ban with a cheaters as well. It's a standard banning procedure in other video games where partner in crime gets a ban, because why not..
I feel like that is karma. Blizzard needs to outright ban multiboxing. Its like pay to win.
"Determined to prove their innocence, the players have put in numerous appeals, and even went so far as to visit the Blizzard offices in France, though they were closed at the time due to the current work from home environment."This was horrible planning on their parts.
on the one hand, i hate botting and hate multiboxing, and think that anyone over-farming to the point where it imbalances the economy should be bannable. That said I commend anyone for protesting a mega corp by showing up at their offices. I hate the corporations hide behind !@#$ty termination emails and refuse to have any form of dialogue with their customers. This happens at many companies and not just blizzard, and i think more people should make them as uncomfortable as possible for their @#$%ty corporate policies.
An appeal isn't an opportunity to plead your case. It just initiates a review of the logs by a different person. That person makes a separate determination if the action should be overturned or not.You can keep appealing, to get additional separate reviews of the logs, until Blizzard says no more reviews will be allowed. By that time, to their mind, the additional reviews firmly support their original conclusion and further requests for review become GM harassment.I don't know if you botted or not, but you are walking a line that is some distance away from the designed play style of the game. It becomes easier to either inadvertently cross, or even just appear to cross, that line into bannable action.
