For some reason on my computer this stuff is nearly invisible. It seems to occur on small, sharp hills. Tough to farm for in my experience, but i havnt tried STM. My best luck was in hillsbrad.

As of patch 2.3 all gather-able and quest objects have the very same 'sparkle' as an corpse that has yet to be looted.

at Ambermill (silverpine forest) is a nice place to find this herb

Grows mostly by old ruins, but sometimes you'll find it on hills (like Earthroot).

So far for me, Stonetalon Mountains were the best place to farm bruiseweed. And you also get lots of Wild Steelbloom Kingsblood and Briarthorn along the way. =)

i found the best place was in northern STV in amongst the ruins of Zul'Kunda against the walls and the respawn rates were quite quick

The tooltip appears to be bugged, it says it Requires Herbalism 100, but it only requires 85 (like the Quick Facts state).

Here are two routes that can be easily followed when farming this herb.

Hillsbrad Foothills - contained in Frozen Herbs

Northern Stranglethorn Vale

There are lots of Kingsblood, Wild Steelbloom, Briarthorn, and Tin Veins along these routes as well. Don't pass them by.

While I have the ZG quests in Northern STV, it seems that any node refuses to spawn. I am currently in the process of confirming this.

Actually you can find it mainly in Ashenvale, The Barrens, Hillsbrad Foothills, and Stonetalon Mountains.

The best place to farm these is Stonetalon Mountains.
