The easiest fix is to allow only one Ebon Might to be on a target at any given time (or to only allow a spec to benefit from one Ebon Might at any given time). If there're multiple Evokers, Ebon Might's should spread across multiple targets.Same deal with Prescience.Yes, that would mean there's a hardcap in the number of Aug Evokers you could bring to a raid, and that's fine with me.Also, lets not forget that part of the issue is the massive burst difference between some specs, UHDK being the example here.
Nerf incoming.
Just make it so it doesn’t stack that way other classes that aren’t evoker still get to play
every1 said this would mess ^&*! up, and now look its all getting messed up, how will bliz prevent abuse xD im waiting with baited breath
So, is the scaling exponential or is it quintic?
But mages needed nerfs right guys? Because mages are the problem and not augmentation......
It's almost like there was no testing done at all before they went live.....
10.1.5 is a joke. same as Blizzard
"This seems like a massive problem, quick nerf mages before they find out." Warlock and DK Class Designer *cough* Class Balance Designer
Lmao! That’s a bait title if I’ve ever seen one. It’s not 13 million DPS, it’s 13 million overall damage. The DPS was 240k, which is still way too much but not 13 mil!
I bet they could make it so that the evoker's buffs are not boosted by another evoker's buffs. For example have ebon might only buff from their own intellect, and not add additional power from having someone else's ebon might on you. and same for other buffs of course. The net result being you still benefit from ebon might for everything but increasing the power of that buff you give. I do not code or have any idea how hard such a thing would be to implement though, I am sure it can be figured out.
rip DK. hopefully they nerf the aug buff stacks and not the class...
Did a key yesterday on my BM Hunter with two Aug Evokers. I typically end keys at about 120k dps overall. With two Aug Evokers, I did 180k dps overall.
