I want one of those Murloc eye mugs!
I'm really pleased that they have removed PVP requirements for the legendary questline. I didn't mind the rep grinding so much, but the PvP is a hard sell. On both characters that I've tried for the legendary cloak, I had one BG that was easy to beat and one that took many, many tries to complete simply because the groups you fight are so unbalanced, and if you bring friends to help you end up facing a great premade, and the list goes on. I got my legendary on my priest but still have yet to win Silvershard on my death knight. Safe to say I'm pleased that PvP won't be necessary for this one. Definitely want challenges, just not ones that go outside the realm of PvE :P
I can't wait for this to go out, hype IS OVER 9000! :P
I'm sad to see that there wasn't anything said about the pre-expansion event. :(BUT NO PVP QUEST FOR LEGENDARY WOOT
Will I need to be in an active party with the GM to visit his/her garrison/use portals, or will I be able to access it even if the GM is offline? Am I able to use any other features of garrisons I visit beyond portals?Surprised they didn't answer a question about the pre-release event (e.g. the quest chain with the Twilight Cult trying to gain influence in Stormwind) at least hinting at the what/when.I hope the faction hubs are accessible for non-PvPers on a PvE server without having to engage in PvP.
Super happy about the removal of the PVP part.@#$% those mines. If I wanted to play payload, I'd play TF2.
The tooltip says 1 hour cooldown, not 1 day
Want to play the expansion so bad. Cant wait!
They mention the perks for having a profession and the related small plot which I think is a great idea. Has there been any mention of of these perks for the gathering professions? Is it me or are gathering professions becoming obsolete? If so, is that by design?
Like mentioned above, I'm surprised there was no comment on the pre-release event. But all in all, great job and great news! Can't wait to start leveling, something I've never been excited about :)
I'd like to make a slight correction :PYou seem to mix a lot the word "Warlord" with "Warchief". Such as here:
Some1 give me a reason to not get hyped for WoD plz, i cant find 1.
I think that I may be the only dude who preferred the one-victory-per-new-battleground segment of the legendary cloak questline to the hours and hours of boring grinds (valor, sigils, secrets, runestones; ugh!). I'll be happy to ignore the ring questline if it's more similar to the latter than some kind of new progression.
I saw the interview and I'm happy because you can tell they had put a lot of effort into offering several ways to enjoy the expansion.
Loved the 2nd installment of Lords of War :D
Is the cooldown of N.U.K.U.L.A.R. Target Painter 1-hour, as said in the item description, or 1-day, as said in the above post?
Call me crazy — and I know it’s not going to happen — but I’m wishing that the 90-100 leveling experience would be at least a month long, with the first raid not opening for at least that long if not longer. Leveling in recent expansions felt rushed. It was exciting and engaging when my first toon took months to get to max level. Not that I would want to do that again with the 1-90 leveling, but I wish the first time through 90-100 would have an equivalent length and breadth that gave the original 1-60/70/80 leveling such a sense of extended exploration and accomplishment. That said, I am definitely on the hype train for WoD. Between garrisons, group finder, the new raid structure (flex rocks!), and max-level quest story-lines, Blizz seems to have learned much about how to make an enjoyable and engaging game.
