So if Enhancement Shaman get Doomhammer, does this means Enhancement is no longer going to be duel-wield? Or are we just not cool enough to get a second weapon like Frost Death Knights?
For artifacts, it would be really kool if characters holding a LEGENDARY weapon could get their Artifact from it. Say Arms Warriors, Ret Paladins and DKs holding Sulfuras from Molten Core, or Shadowmourne could get their artifact as an updated version of these weapons. Same for the Legendary Bow for Hunters.FANGS OF THE FATHER! for Rogues would be an incredible source for their Artifact, since it could already have 3 different Transmog options in the three stages it has during their legendary questline. It would be amazing to give this option to characters that have already accomplished greatness through acquiring Legendary weapons, plus it would provide an incentive to dust off characters holding them. Also a little bit of variation, since not all characters would hold the same artifacts, despite being the same class and spec.
I fail to grasp the logic behind the hate being poured on artifact weapons with the argument "What happens when you enter a BG with the pallies all having ahsbringers and the mages all haveing blah blah blah"Honestly, with how few weapons drop now, you're just as likely to see multiple classes with the same weapon. Shamans wielding the same staff as mages, warlocks and priests, Warriors, DK's and Pallys all using the same 2h, frost dk's using the same 1h weapons as pally and warrior tanks. It's a specious argument by a loud minority worried that they may honestly enjoy themselves in the game and their self righteous indignant complaining in WoW forums will evaporate. The new x-pac isn't even in Beta yet and so many people are gnashing their teeth and pulling their hair out with impotent rage over things thay cannot honestly have any idea about yet.Stop paying and go install Rift or GW if you're that sensitive and annoyed and what the future may hold.
So is there any updates on what the warlock weapons are?
So here's how we get weapons now:
What's wrong with Blizzard the doomhammer is probably the best in the first appearance then some ugly green and purple doomgammer, like only the first 2 doomhammers on the picture actually are pretty.
I'm still wondering how shields are dealt with. Frost Mages recieve a two handed staff.Everything easy.Fire Mages recieve a onehanded sword. If they dont recieve an offhand addition they are dealing with a smaller artefact-advantage if these are going to be the Legion-Legendary Item, since its offering 75% of the weapon and the offhand, which is no superior state, would have been giving the other 25%.That would lead down to Healers beeing disadvanteged when usually equipped with a shield or offhand item. And basically a shield is part of armor worn in the offhand slot, but as warrior tank its definitly affecting my damage and that even more when playing a gladiator warri. Just sayan'
Hail.... So new stuff coming on this new Expansion... Feels nice, sounds even better but.... What about an ancient problem that i´m sure ya all came upon it: Class specific drops in older Raids... Blizzard keeps on providing us with newer content and new features yet, it kinda forgot that, with a new class the older drops ( Weapons or even Gear ) have not yet suffered a remake ...For example some drops in Molten Core or Kharazan can´t be used by either DK, Monk´s... Do wish Blizz could think a bit on this problem...Its ok to have a new Class or even Race yet it would be good ( specially Monk´s ) to remake some of the drops in older raids or even dungeons...Just a reminder since a new Class is coming on and maybe, just maybe some Draenor Dungeons or even Raids should be revisited by Blizz... :)--ReSpEcT--
I think that giving one of the warlock specs the Book of Medivh would be cool since it would be an offhand artifact. It would probably be best for Demonology since it was used to summon Archimonde in Warcraft 3.
Am I the only one who thinks we should have a "draenic" variant of Ashbringer? knowing that some of the greatest paladins in the Warcraft universe are draenei I think there should be a variant of Ashbringer with purple crystals and this kind of artwork.
This is such a bad change. The push to make WoW as one-dimensional and simplistic as a moba like heroes of the storm is just riddled with failure. ONE weapon the whole expac and you have nothing to look forward to...except that every single player in the game will be basically the same as the other. The pvp changes are even worse...
Time to brush off that old Wing Clip/Raptor Strike macro!AnywaySuper excited for the changes! I'm really excited about the weapons. I'm just really hoping that it doesn't turn into another "there is only one right spec" thing again, though. I'm assuming the weapon talents will work the same as ours, in that there are multiple choices in each tier, but you can only pick one choice per tier. So it's really going to have to be very even with the talents to not have a whole "You have talent C instead of talent A? GTFO of my raid scrub" thing going on with the weapons. I understand minmaxers gotta minmax, but it does take away from some people's enjoyment to have a huge output disparity between a really fun talent and a pure damage/healing talent that's really boring.I guess I'm saying that I hope the weapons are 100% visual effect/unique active ability and not "10% more healing with Riptide."I really hope they expand the transmog system, though, if only for the Artifact weapons. It would be nice for someone to be able to transmog their staff into a 1h and an offhand, or vice versa. Just so long as both hands are being taken up, I guess. I don't know how much of a coding nightmare that would be, though. As far as people complaining about Artifact weapons ruining the "uniqueness" of the weapons...our characters are actually supposed to only be at most one of a kind or at least one of a small group of very powerful adventurers according to the story. You can focus on your own toon's story if you so choose, because honestly, 99% of the other players would not even exist if things in-game were realistic. If we were looking at things like that, WoW would actually be more of a single player game with an option for like, five person co-op.Honestly, if there were millions of super powerful adventurers (or hundreds/thousands for individual servers) then world-shattering problems would be "Oh, there's a dragon attacking the world again. What am I going to make for dinner tonight?" and no one would bother to do anything because some adventurer will eventually come along and find that sock that went missing for you if you toss a few coins their way.So yeah, a lot of other people are going to have it. But YOUR character is the only one that matters from the perspective of the story. If you want something fancy just to lord over people as a status symbol, go find something to transmog, or carry around the Warglaives of Azzinoth to equip while you're waiting for queues in Dalaran.I dunno, just my 2c.
Those models of Ice Bringer and Soul Reaper actually look like awesome 2h weapons.
