They are releasing an expansion with artifact weapons and Demon Hunter hero class but there's no Twin Blades of Azzinoth artifact weapon for the new class? Oh, Blizz...
i don't know about anyone else but personally i was hoping blizzard would bring in some way we could "re-forge" Frostmourne for the Death Knight legendary.... since they had to re-forge Felo'melorn since Arthas broke it in his battle w/ Kael'thas it shows that rune weapons can be reforged when broken and maybe have a group of casters (probably warlocks since and of the light wielding classes would try to purify it rather than remove part of the taint) could remove Ner'zuls curse on the weapon that steals your soul when you take up the sword. again just me but still would've been cool =P
Good lord it looks like a lot of dark gameplay I'm going to have to adjust my setting and shut my curtains!
Looks interesting! Will be nice to see how it works while playing!
Prot Warrior & paladin both are shield and sword combo. Paladin really should a hammer & shield. Ashbringer makes to talk sense. Holy got hammer and that awesome. But come, on serepheim give them a hammer and get the same stuff as warriors. Blizz needs to hammer up.
I understand that both weapons are attainable and I can upgrade them Both, but do I get to fo both of the kickass quests or do I just suddenly have a weapon once I change spec?
Sooo.. Broxigars Axe anyone? the only thing in mortal hands that has hurt sargeras? Nah lets use this old human sword, because we didn't have enough sword artifacts
I like the design of quite a bit of the weapons, but I'm somewhat disappointed by some of the Lore descriptions, especially in the Mage staff. Now, with the Mages weapons, I felt they had an opportunity to go with something a bit more on the Northrend theme, especially when I saw the Fire weapon. Since Northrend hosts Dalaran, the City of Mages, Malygos and the Blue Dragons, and on top of that, Flamestrike is Kael'thas' weapon, which he lost in Northrend. It would have been nice to tie them all together.Everyone knows the Blue Dragons for their Icy Breath, but they're the Masters of Magic, Spellcraft, and everything Arcane. Given Magna's Aegwyn's association with dragons during a time when the Legion was attacking Azeroth. I felt like they could have connected that, instead of just leaving it obscure.Flamestrike I think is fine just the way it is, fits very nicely with the Northrend theme. But as for the Frost Staff, instead of saying it was owned by some the First Guardian, who is in fact from the Warcraft Legends manga, I feel like it doesn't fit. Alodi, in the manga, is shown utilizing what I believe to be Fire Spells, does use Scorch in particular, and rides a Phoenix. He seems to fit in more with Fire Magic, or perhaps Arcane, given his penchant for researching new spells and developing the method for long distance power transferal. I just feel a different mage, one used to causing Calamities, not stopping them, could have been utilized. As far as I know, Kel'Thuzad's phylactery has not been found or destroyed to date, and is still out there. It's crystalline in structure, and given the icy nature of Lich's, and their power, I think he'd have made a great focusing iris for a staff. Corrupted or purified, bind his essence to a staff, and it'd be something of extraordinary power! What do you guys and gals think?
Scepter of Azshara is very ugly. When i will get it. My 1.st way to the transmog and change it. My msg for the Designer You job worst it. this 5 design is have no fanatsy and ridiculous. Zero Associason to the Shaman class. I Hope u will never get the SHAMAN project. Thanks
http://tinypic.com/r/30aqjp5/9weapon for warrior :D
Hm so, all artifact's perks are just only about "time-question" ...playtime = perks... not skill or choose our unique way to play... Everyone has everithing again... one big joke... Thx. More more cosmetic posibilities instead of new playstyles posibilities...
Not feeling the spriest dagger design :|
I love that the druid weapons will change the appearance of their beast forms. Still think they got the gun/bow backwards for hunters - elves love nature and use bows while dwarves are more into technology and use guns - so I guess my hunter will just keep using the model he has. The rogue weapons will look good on my worgen, but the DK ones look a little iffy - like you might injure yourself instead of your opponent. Haven't decided whether to use them or not.
im assuming these relic weapons will go beyond legions, i doubt they would spend this much time on something as important as relic weapons and completely forget them in the next expansion
Is it possible to get artifacts for all specializations or only main and offspec?I wanted to get a Doomhammer only for transmog as I hardly will be playing enhacement. My shaman alt is mainly Resto and i like to keep Ele as an OS for trinket/ring/necks compatibility and to ease farming a bit.Not being able to transmog it to other weapons is a bummer for me. (Or I'll just force myself into playing Enh because Doomhammer :p)
After reading the lore behind these weapons, does anyone else think that the Windwalker Monk and Elemental Shaman weapon lore is a bit backwards? It would just make more sense to me for the weapons to be the other way around. Just the lore though, overall design should be kept the same. Also it seams that the Arms and Fury Wariors are getting the short end of the stick when it comes to weapons.
Don't like your artifact's appearance? You can transmog over it ? Can my Rogue transmog the artifact's weapon to a fist weapon?
