The above comments in my opinion can be regarded if you plan on instancing/raiding a lot. For levelling, this is a solid talent to increase your damage early on. As time goes by however, it loses it's value somewhat, but by then you should have enough money for a respec anyway, if you truly think you can use your points somewhere better.

The third rank of this talent provides one of the rare unique buffs in the game. As a raiding enhancement shaman, this is a necessary talent choice.

except that if you are raiding with a DK strength of earth totem is cancelled out by Horn of Winter. so this talent is useless for a enhance shammy raiding with a DK in the group... edit.. unless u can ask every DK in the raid not to use horn of winter cuz your totem will give more str&agi than Horn of winter... see if those DK's will listen

If you duel wield, shouldn't you always use Str of Earth? I mean, especially if you have Glyph of Stoneclaw Totem, which blocks out damage in the first place. The imp flametongue totem really isn't needed much I think.

they need to add a talent like this in the Death Knight Frost tree increasing Horn of Winter's effect by 15% for 2 talent points.

In other words; if you are a raiding Enhancement Shaman, unless you regularly raid with another Enhancement Shaman who is spec'd for this, it's worth it because it still overwrites HoW and gives you that extra strength/agi.

Flametongue is not used for Enhancement or Elemental.
