I look forward to the day when players can choose between:Classic Vanilla ForeverClassic Vanilla ---> Burning CrusadeClassic Vanilla ---> Lich KingClassic Vanilla ---> CataclysmClassic Vanilla ---> PandariaClassic Vanilla ---> Warlords of DraenorClassic Vanilla ---> LegionClassic Vanilla ---> Battle for AzerothClassic Vanilla ---> ShadowlandsClassic Vanilla ---> ?RetailTo support everyone who wants to play their favorite expansion before whatever game-ruining changes came along to make them say "No more, this is where I hold the line." You get a server, and you get a server, and you get a server!
you think they will go as far as they can till even bfa becomes old enough to add as a legacy server? Or you think it will stop at WotLK, what many considered to be the peak of wow.
But but but... in a few years we will have BfA Classic, too? lol
I think "Classic" should be a trilogy of Vanilla / BC / Wrath.I only got far enough in Classic to get an Undead out of Deathknell and to Brill, but I think the Classic trio is the play.
CLASSIC+ OR BUST
No changes, some changes would be welcome. Most of the core can remain the same but like classic has taught us that some changes can be made that stays true to the spirit of Vanilla and TBC.
I figured they were eventually going to do this even back when Classic was first announced, but doesn't this defeat the purpose of Classic? What are they going to do? Run separate versions of the game for each expansion (which would be ridiculous even by Blizzard standards)? Gradually update the game through all the expansions, which kind of undermines the entire reason Classic was asked for? Find an arbitrary stopping point for the "final" expansion? This is exactly why I always thought Classic was a bad idea: it's unsustainable. Even the biggest nostalgia hounds won't stick around doing the same content forever, but updating the game too much will bring us full circle. If it really does wind up going through all the same motions as retail, there was literally zero point in the whole project besides a tiny bump in player retention.I'm actually not sure why they didn't simply do TBC or Wrath in the first place since that's when most people consider the game to be at its best.
I cant wait for my dream to come true, to play on both classic. TBC and Retail, all i wanted since i was 21 when vanilla released! Only wow on my PC installed! I CANT WAIT!
TBC was the best expansion for me! looking forward to it!
Really wish they would not do this because as i said many times where does it end? Classic, wrath? Classic Cata? Classic BFA? just stay at classic, and focus on development for retail
hopefully you have to level all over again from 1, keeping to the strick way it was explained when classic rolled out.
