I noticed someone on my server has 5 of these librams up on AH. Surely he's finding them somewhere quite routinely. I found one fighting demons in Felwood, and I heard rumors you receive these from fighting lvl 50+ humanoids. My question is, where is everyone else finding theirs?

the first comment on the ingredients for this libram are the correct one. You need 4 Crystal forces. made from green and blue crystals at th eastern pylon. Note that 10 of each is needed to make 3 Crystals but you need 4 in total....so you need 20 of each and will be left with two over :)

Here are all the different librams you can collect remember you can only have 1 book of the same type at once. Once you convert the book in the quest you can(theoretically) carry the same arcanum with you. The two letter abbreviations are BS and DM are for where the quest turn in is for that libram. BS = Burning Steppes DM = Dire Maul

What each of the arcanum do:
Rumination - BS - 150 mana
Constitution - BS - 100 hp
Tenacity - BS - 125 armor
Resilience - BS - +20 fire resistance
Voracity - BS - +8 str/agi/sta/int/spi (only 1 stat of the 5)
Rapidity - DM - +1% haste to attacks (ranged/melee)
Focus - DM - +8 healing and damage from spells
Protection - DM - +1% to dodge

Just found out, that using a libram on a BOE item, does not make it Soulbound (lucky me)

I went to the Burning Steppes to see the elf, carrying a pristine black diamand, 4 crystal force, 4 whipper root tubers, and 30 gold, yet the quest would not complete.

What am I doing wrong?

I purchased the diamond from the AH...do I have to gather it myself? I found or made all other items.

Where everyone getting .1 crit per intellect...?

Everywhere I find formulae based on actual real time gaming... It varies from class to class...

For a mage it would be %

Meaning it wouldn't come near .8% crit...
8 intellect would give 8/59.5 = .1345%

Less than .2%!

Roughly for every 6 Intellect you get .1% crit...
And according to many meters, that's about right...

As people complained (last post), here is what yo need to do.

You need to get 4 Crystal force (from pylons in ungoro by collecting the correct crystals from around the area), 4 whipper tuber root (DM east drops off plants), 1 black diamond.

Take those items and the libram to "Mathredis Firestar" NPC at the Flame Crest cave of Burning Steppes. Its cave on the North side. It will also cost you 30g, and he will then give you the arcanum that you can use on your leg and head slot gear.

You can do the quest with your main and then make Green Tinted Googles or what ever you want, and send it to your main from your twink if it's that you want it on, and you can put +8 Agi on the head and send it back to your twink

Everbody above seems to have confused the LIBRAM of Voracity with the ARCANUM of Voracity.

The ARCANUM is what you want for the +8 Agility but you need the LIBRAM first and the LIBRAM is a DROP. (Or buy for the AH for 10 - 50g depending on server).

SO WHERE DO YOU GET THE LIBRAM, I list the hit targets from best % drop to worst:

Gurubashi Warrior - 2.63% Stranglethorn Vale
Twilight's Hammer Ambassador - 1.20% Blackrock Depths
Jadefire Trickster - 0.60% Felwood
Skeletal Sorcerer - 0.26% Western Plaguelands

The Whipper Root tubers are the only plant that I have not seen in Felwood thus far. However the NE who you get the plant salves from says that those and Nightdragon are the rarest to find

Once you get the book, then what...?

1. First you need the book. Libram of Voracity
Libram of Voracity most players, you will get this at the AH. In my realm, you can get one for between 1g-2g, but prices vary greatly.

2. The next item you will need is a Black Diamond
Black Diamond for most players, the easiest way to get a Black Diamond is via the AH, but if you happen to go to Black Rock Depths, they drop in BRD frequently.

These next two items take a little work to get.
3. Crystal Force. (item link) Crystal Force if you are ready to use the Libram, you have ventured to Un'goro crater by now and are familiar with the Crystal Pylons. If not, there is a short chain of quests you need to complete before you can create Crystal Force
Crystal Force Crystal Force is BoP, so you can't simply buy it at the AH. However, you can by the ingredients,
10x Green Power Crystals, Green Power Crystal Blue Power Crystals, Blue Power Crystal unless the crystals are really cheap in the AH, you can gather 10 of each fairly quickly as you run around Un'Goro Crater. You only need 10 of each crystal because you will be able to create 6x Crystal Force at the Pylon, but you only need 4 for the Libram.

So, no matter what, you will have to venture to the Un'Goro and go to the Eastern Pylon to craft Crystal Force. The Eastern Pylon is located at 77.50 in Un'goro crater.

4. Finally, the crappiest part of putting together the mats for the Libram, the White Root Tuber, and this item takes you to Felwood.
Whipper Root Tuber Crystal Force, the White Root Tuber is BoP, so you can't simply buy it, you will have to do the chain of quests to acquire the item.

To start this line of quests, you need to speak with Arathandris Silversky, who is located 54.86, just south of the Emerald Sanctuary in Felwood.
The first quest you get is Cleansing Felwood
Cleansing Felwood from the fact that you need to go far north in Felwood to get the items (Blood Amber) to finish this first chain (A Silversky is in the far south), the drop rate is reasonable (in fact, the drop rate is 100%). Once you get the 15 Blood Ambers, return to A. Silversky.

The next step is to do the quests of the Cenarion Plant Salve,
Cenarion Plant Salve link is pretty self-explanatory...how you go about getting the items (eihter Fel Creep or Corrupted Soul Shards)depends on which gathering skill you possess.
Important Note, To cleanse the Corrupted Whipper Root, you need 3x Cenarion Plan Salve, but if you turn in only the minimum set of items, A. Silversky gives you only 2 Salves, so when you are gathering for the Corrupted Soul Shards and Fel Creep, get enough to get at least 6 Salves.

Once you have enough items to get at least 4 Salves (although, you may want to get 6 Salves to give you some margin of error), return to A. Silversky to get the Cenarion Plan Salve.

Now your ready to venture out and find some Corrupted Whipper Root. As to where to find them,

This image was posted in another thread, but is fairly accurate. Note, Whipper root don't respawn in exactly the same place, but they will spawn in and around those marked areas.

Anyway, apply the salve to the plant, then harvest the plan. I got 5 Cleansed Whipper Root Tubers from 1 plant, so I was done (you only need 4 for the Libram).

FINALLY, you have all your items, so now you need to go the Burning Stepps and see Mathredis Firestar, who is located at 65.23

There are a number of other books found around the world. They are "lost texts" of the Quel'Thalas High Elves? There are two NPCs that "collect" these when you find them.

One NPC, Mathredis Firestar, is found in Flame Crest in The Burning Steppes.
He only accepts Librams of Constitution (100HP), Resilience (20FireResist), Rumination (100mana), Tenacity (125armor), and Voracity (+8 to any stat).

The other NPC, Lorekeeper Lydros, can be found in the Library in the Dire Maul instance (North entrance).
He accepts Librams of Focus (+8 healing&spelldmg), Protection (1%dodge), and Rapidity (1% haste).

Each of these enchants can only be applied to a Head or Leg item. Normal enchants provided by Enchanters cannot enchant Head or Legs, thus making these types of enchants that much more valuable!

Each Libram is Unique so you can only carry one at a time. After finding said Librams and taking them to said NPC, the NPC will tell you what items you need to obtain the enchantment each book provides. For more information on how to obtain each of the components requried for the turn-in, click on the link I provided for each book to read about the quest associated with it.

I guess I should have read all the way down before starting this process. 30 gold after jumping through all the other hoops was kind of a slap in the face (especially since the libram was not cheap in AH on my server). Oh well, nobody ever said twinking was cheap.

Collected from several sources:

You have to take this to the Blood Elf (Mathredis Firestar) at Flame Crest, Burning Steppes along with:

- 30 gold
- a Black Diamond (found in BRD)
- 4 Whipper Root Tubers (found in Felwood, but can only be collected after the plant is cleansed with a Cenarion Salve from quest)
- 4 Crystal Force (found in Un'Goro Crater, you can create these from 10 green and 10 yellow power crystals at the Eastern Pylon)

As a reward you can choose 1 item that can permanently enchant your head/legs item with
8 to one of the following stats str/agi/sta/int/spi.

I received this book twice within two weeks from a single anvilrage Warden mob in the same location East Garrison and the Left Hallway. It's either luck or mob this is a great chance of drop.

in SOD P3 its surely less then 4% we killed like 200-300 medics and 0 librams

I'd say the normal rate lies somewhere around 1 drop per 1,000 kills (+/- 500). Realistically not a profitable way to farm just solely these, better to farm the raw gold and buy it.
