My absolutely most epic piece of loot had to have been my Mask of Penance. After going through that dungeon so many times I lost count, I finally got it. Sadly, it's still the best healing helm I have, but it's great to have on and I enjoy just getting it out to look at it every once in a while.--Jed

I never roll well but on the roll with all the wowhead readers for the Bear mount I rolled 1-100 and got a 101.
Wow it's day 3 already? Hm, guess dragons aren't lucky for me. Well then, let's try... ok here we go. PvP example.I was in Warsong Gulch, in the level 40s bracket. I am prowling into the Horde flag room, and I spot a lone undead rogue on defense. I sneak up on him and pounce him, but am shocked when my attack puts me to sleep! Of course the pounce stun wore off before the sleep did. The rogue laughed at me before unleashing a backstab upon my helpless body. At that moment, the hit woke me up, while the rogue fell asleep! Each of us were unaware that the other was wearing Green Whelp Armor. I returned the laugh at him, grabbed the flag, and dashed away. The moment was epic because not only did we each surprise the other with the exact sane item, but it only has a 5% chance to proc, and both items activated from the first blow.
The most epic loot i ever got was when i got my first piece of T1 Cenarion, oh how i miss you Molten Core,
I have to say the most epic loot I have acquired in the World of Warcraft game is when I obtained the rare spawn gorilla Uhk’loc. I distinctly remember back when I was playing my hunter the first time I saw this rare gorilla while researching pets. When I reached the appropriate level to actually tame him I wasted no time in camping his spawn zone. Many grueling hours/days of clearing the cave in which he resided in, encounters with Horde players (PvP server) and coming up with nothing. Until that fateful day when I cleared halfway into the cave and spotted him on my mini map with tracking. Finally, he was there, my heart raced. I finished working my way towards him formulating a plan of action. When I arrived I stopped to top off my health and mana. All of a sudden, just as I pulled him a gnome mage came out of nowhere dragging numerous gorillas and AoE’ing them down. My heart stopped, he pulled Uhk’loc into the mix. Fortunately for me (unfortunate for him), he died in the process and my rare gorilla was still alive (Uhk’loc had only 3% health when the mage died). I let Uhk’loc reset and made my pull. SUCCESS! I was so elated, I had to show him off too all my friends in Ironforge.
Most epic... Um, I got the reins of the white polar bear mount on my second daily for it. Yay.
The most epic loot ever is when i found out about WoWHead. After that i never went anywhere else.I love you WoWHead.
So I was in Heroic seth halls and we had a druid epic flight form quest in party. He summons Anzu and we down him. I went to loot and there it is, a Raven Lord mount. EVERYONE needed that mount* (this is back when TBC just came out) because no one in our server had it. Everyone rolled on it. 1st guy got a 4, 2nd - 3, 3rd - 27, 4th - 19. And I though hay I seriously can just win this, they all got low rolls. I clicked my roll and I got a 28! It ALMOST gave me an heart attack if I didn't win. I mean rolling 100 is one thing, rolling just 1 more than 2nd highest is another.I just wish I am lucky in this too.
Samson may have had his Jawbone but when I want to slay hordes of enemies (Mostly critters >.<) I bring out my trusty Large Bear Bone. Ha!It's also popular with the ladies. >.>
Quite a long time ago one of the most epic pieces in the game for a Warrior was the Lionheart Helm. It was the best helm that you could ever get back when level 60 was the cap. I remember when it was such a scare drop that only 2 people on the server had it. Being an Armorsmith myself I really strived to get every pattern I could and I even got the Plans: Stronghold Gauntlets. but try as I may I could never find that set of plans for the Lionheart Helm. Life moved on and so did I. I eventually got the plans for the Sulfuron Hammer and kept trucking away to get my hands on every set of plans I could. One day though my friends and I were running a Dire Maul North run just for drops that were useful back then. I noted to my fellow warrior friend how it would be great if Captain Kromcrush dropped the breastplate for him as he was an up and coming Molten Core Tank. So we killed the captain and lo and behold we saw the breastplate drop. I was about to say congrats to my friend when, for whatever reason may be, be it server lag, loot lag, luck, or some random course of event almost a second later my jaw hit the floor. Appearing on my screen just beneath a blue breastplate that no longer had any meaning. Plans: Lionheart Helm. I don't know really how long I stood looking at the screen really the event had completely thrown me off. I couldn't even say a word in Ventrilo. Each one of my friends passed on that set of plans and and I rolled on it. It was in my bags for what seemed like an eternity of waiting then I clicked on them. For the next few days I got hundreds of tells from "What are the mats?" to "Can you really make the Lionheart Helm?". To this day my friends still tease me about how I couldn't say a thing. I won't ever drop my Blacksmithing I have so many memories that tie it to friends and great events.
