Deconstruction, like most Post-modernist thinking, is ultimately shallow and extremely pathetic. this "Revelation" is a perfect example on how banal deconstructio is.The titans were always a bit morally grey, while benevolent and ultimately caring creatures in a world with cosmic forces clearly not so cleanly benevolent, they were still rather imposing and domineering, Literal gods who needed to be shown and taught the value of mortals on Azeroth, that imperfection can still be good.Instead, this new lore destroys all that, it destroys the good actual questions the titans raised and instead turns them into petty scheming creatures, complete with hamfisted notes to how a corrupting mind destroying empire that enslaved all ( which we recently fought a resurgence of ) is somehow not the horrible evil corruption we oh so needed to avoid.Like I said at the start, this reeks of flimsy Post-modernist thinking, where "Relative" means we must treat everything as equal. I'm sorry, but Thorim caring about my lightning wolf friend enough to literally save his life isn't invalidated because Odyn says a few spicy words in a lore book.
Odyn, Liar Liar Beard On Fire
Nice, hope there'll be an xpac with Zereth Ordus and the rest of the Zereths out there.
From what I understand, it doesn't exactly say that Titans are bad. It just says that Odyn has an awful god complexe, that's all. If done right, I like this direction
