So the msg with Pathfinder is "do not put any effort in the game" while playing your content blizzard cause eventually you will relent to the whiners on forums, gotcha! This has nothing to do with "new players" but older players that never cared to put effort in the game.I was perfectly fine with people skipping WoD/Legion in there leveling sessions cause of flying, there is good amount people who actually played the game.
I'm very curious how this applies to worgen and goblin. Because if they get the option to level exiles reach too. Then there is no point those races not having to the monk class. Seriously Worgen the race known for fighting with their claws in lore and they are 1 of 2 races that can't play the class with unarmed combat.
It makes sense to combine the "Vanilla areas" with Cataclysm since any level zones other than BFA are supposed to be a "time travel", they said they're going to be picked from Chromie, that's probably still to come.
So those of us who farmed and ground out the rep required for the flying will have to buy it now? removes the value of it. If people want to fly then they should work for it.
we dont have Vanilla zones now. So Doing Cata is doing 1-50. If you were to level now, you would start in Cata, then go to TBC or Wrath, then back to Cata (or mop). It makes sense that the Updated zones take you 1 - 30 then the Cata zones 30 - 50. Also you get flying at 30 which lets you do the Cata zones. Basically Vanilla zones don't exist anymore.
Honestly it would be better that people who haven't done the achievement can only get 150% expert riding speed in expac zones they haven't got the achievement for regardless of current skill level. Flying isn't needed in any of the pathfinder expansions and is a nice bonus for people who actually want to play the game. You grind out on your ground mount so it feels satisfying when you finally earned the right to fly. If you don't want to play WoD or BFA or Legion then why do you want the pathfinder anyway? Its not like you are playing the content.
Main disadvantages of pathfinder is that they never design zone in vertical scale. This can be some new and interesting experience. I liked Vashj'ir. It was original to have vertical experience under water. For me they are a bit conservative right now. Zones are more or less builded the same way and exploring them is more or less similar. Not like it is not interesting, but something fresh as entirely underwater or for example in space zones, would be interesting :).
People buying this, shouldn't get the mount from the achiev.
i hope that i will not have to pay gold for flying in broken isles/dreanor. i completed all pathfinders.
