What the #$%^.
I will said again..Scarlet Crusade, Light fanatical followers...cmon guys is not hard to swallow is been 35 years since the events of WOD, and remember Velen is not there to lead them, even if Yriel have good intentions she was too young and was a warrior more than a pacifist and in the text said that the first year after Wod they rebuilt and all good, then try to teach the light to orcs and then these orcs maybe come the idea that all orcs should follow the light for "salvation" and start to force the light to others and........... yea Scarlet Crusade 2.0 Drenai
But yeah, we don't know what happened for Yrel to turn that...you are assuming it was independently..maybe it wasn't, maybe it was their Xe'ra or other...maybe Yrel was like this after all she lost, but held back until she had enough strenght and army to do it...maybe they have old god's too that are wispering...same or different ones, more powerfull...we just don't know...maybe blizzard will tell more about it in a book or future expansion. Bolvar is the LK since Wotlk..and from nothing he calls the Death knights and start planing something....Actually Draenor CAN'T have old gods, because there is no benefit to them being thereDraenor has been confirmed to not have a titan spirit, so wasting old gods there is dubious at bestAlso if Yrel didn't break at WoD there is no reason for it to happen later, and for us to not see it, like I said before
I love it so much! The lightbound are basically European settlers that came to america and tried to force their religion and culture on the native tribes. It's so messed up. Though this does make orc priests even more confusing tbh. As their conflict with the Draenei had made the PC orcs hate the light.
The biggets invasion of all times..happened once a while in one map, we had time to deal with things where were no demons there at the time, there were more buffed up demons on the broken shore cinematic them during the game, 7.2 was a joke story wise, 7.3 got something but still...everyone left the planet, just go and do what you have to do Sargeras... but still, for ME it was bad..for some it wasn't..maybe for me it's ok Yrel now, for some, it isn't..that was my point here..Gameplay and story inconsistenciesI feel your pain but it is only natural, like I said, I'm only making the argument that it made sense and had flow, not how good it was since that is extremely subjective
Too much of anything is bad, even something like the Light. And remember how Xe'ra acted towards Illidan, nearly raping him to become a Lightbound. Light and holy does not always equal good, we have our own history as proof (the Crusades, the Spanish Inquisition, the forced conversion or eradication of native populations by Christianity, etc). It's also been thirty-five years on Draenor since WoD and Velen isn't leading them, Y'rel is, who was neither a prophet nor a holy figure but a warrior forced into the highest of offices during a time of great trial and conflict.
nearly raping him to become a Lightbound. Wew, I'm not even touching that one
Fantastic! This entire "Light Tyrant Yrel" spiel seems to be a ploy to redeem and bring back Garrosh.I would gladly trade Yrel for Garrosh back.
Sigh
