Legion was really good, so what do you mean? I do not think that point needed improve.
I swear... Reading these comments makes me think, this community is worse than League of legends..
Raidloggers are the worst.
Requires reputation for test...
all these players who say things like. If you don't like it just unsub or its a rep grind that's what wow is all about. They have absolutely no respect for player's time just like blizzard. Not everyone has the time to play everyday or let alone for multiple hours per day. Some players only can play on the weekends for a few hours and would rather spend that time PvPing, raiding, and doing keys with friends than having to spend time doing dailies. Solution to issues like this is simple. Tie the belt to the campaign and tie the power to the rep grind. This gives players the choice to grind the rep or replay the campaign to get the belt on alts or if you want to move the power to another slot. Pretty simple solution that doesn't force some players into doing content they don't want to spend their time doing...
The rep grind is nothing, like people have said already, anyone playing the game actively will be revered by heroic opening week.
Would be nice to have a way to, "upgrade any current covenant Lego into this" too. Otherwise that items gonna be obsolete and feel real bad spending all that gold to craft something that's barely worth breaking up.I'd love for it to be confirmed that the Lego is only from vendor and not from say, completing the campaign. Having the item to swap to another slot on the vendor only is another option, but again feels like a really bad game interaction. I've had my ventyr MW Lego for example for 7 months, why would I need reputation to know how to use it again. I can't see how this can be a restriction from a lore or gameplay point of view, it does feel very *timegatey* from that perspective. First week campaign quests should give Lego base item, then second week giving the swapping power. At least then you'll have it in time for raid and get the basic layout of gear sorted. There are plenty of ways of doing double Lego, I feel this just isn't a good way. Just my point of view, rather than just having toxic comments like "WoRsT gAmE eVeR" and "BlIzZaRd ClEaRlY dOeSn'T wAnT mY sUb". Don't flame me to hard please!
The Tooltip says you have to revered to PURCHASE this Memory, so since its a universal Legendary like the Maw Rattle for example, after buying this with one character every other Character will have it unlocked. At least I hope so
The implication/inference/first logical assumption of there being no player power in outdoor world content in 9.2 after saying that the cypher system wouldn't have it. And then by extension most of us likely thought out that major barrier/checkpoints/tiers of cypher research would be gated by rep status. Thus bringing us to the situation where we are now.Regardless the company can't design anything without monkeypaw and is creatively bereft in all facets.
So, in short: Instead of tying their phone game research to player power, they are making us grind Rep again if Raiders want to be optimal and engage with their boring World and the Content in it that way. Now the only thing we need to see is if some of the 'optional' Research in the tree somehow also increases your Rep gain.
As always people that have no idea what they are talking about get to fill the first page with their nonsense ramblings and incessant whining. This is nothing, and it makes sense since it's such a huge power increase, quit your crying.
Lots of jokers here twisting words. Blizzard said Zereth Mortis’s Cypher is used for more quality of life in the nee area type upgrades and the bot kid. (Similar to mechagon as others have out it). They also had it weeks ago that the belt was unlocked by doing some of the questing (reputation). Pull up your pants and stop with the belly aching, it’s going to be a solid final patch. Many have reported the reputation was quite easy to get (observed in PTR testing).
The problem with this isn't the fact you have to grind for it, i believe it to be a more then reasonable grind for an mmo, but the key point is that they explicitly stated when they were under harsh criticism that they would change and listen to player feedback. One of the steps to listening to player feedback they explained would be to not tie player power to the new outdoor zerith mortis content. This is what seems like exactly that - tying player power to the new zerith mortis content.
how do i delete old comment
"The entirety of the Cypher system is intended to improve your experience in Zereth Mortis, and will not provide any player power in dungeons or raids. If you have no interest in exploring Zereth Mortis, this system can presumably be skipped on its entirety." https://ptr.cuckhead.com/news/cypher-of-the-first-ones-system-preview-no-player-power-for-raids-and-dungeons-325169?page=2Source.
