Strongly disagree.Having each class provide something unique and therefore getting a raid spot is a good thing, never a bad thing. What a ludicrous argument to make. The ability to freely stack classes and cheese encounters is what's bad. Mandating a diverse roster is good.
I am not a fan of completely removing the old potions effects, does this mean that old enchants, scrolls and other interesting effect items will be also. I can understand reducing the effect, say old speed pots only give 50% move speed and the current expansion gives 75% for longer but to completely remove them is also removing part of the economyFor me old pots are handy for running old raid and dungeon content, i would not want to use current expansion pots or other buffs as they are more expensive and harder to get, to me it's an odd decision. If as it's been indicated that leveling to 50 is going to be quick then it's unlikely anyone will buy the old content buffs, pots, gear. The economy is pretty poor already with lots of BoP crafted gear. For the class buffs it would be better to make them more widely available, some here think it won't really have any effect, which i can only assume they have never been rejected from a group due to their class or have never had someone else take their place on a raid because they did not bring a particular buff, it does happen whether some want to admit it or not.Once again feels like another missed opportunity to broaden the economy and class usage.
If you want Devotion Aura, bring a paladin....?
I don't like those changes because it focuses too much on classes instead of specs. I'm used to main a ret paladin and I felt like I made the good choice to quit this spec for 8.3 since it's going to have no value in shadowlands. I mean, most of raid composition already have 1 holy paladin, so what's the point of a ret paladin then ? None. And same goes for feral, elem, ww and sp, they don't bring anything that would make them more desirable than their healing spec counterparts.Instead, Blizzard should have tought about spec exclusive buffs/debuff/utilities.
I think that for a player who clearly invests more time into this game to say “the changes being made make it harder to maximise the effectiveness of my classes’ entire toolset across all specialisations and areas of play” is fair. That’s undeniably true and I can, as a player who isn’t worried about that at all, sympathise.Saying “anyone who doesn’t care about these changes is lazy or just plain sucks at this game” is not fair. Some people don’t have the time, some people prefer to roleplay in this massively multiplayer online ROLE PLAYING GAME, and others just don’t like the entirety of their options either in terms of play style or facets of the game. I happen to be all of the above. All I can say for certain is Blizzard will keep what changes they want and alter their course when they feel obliged. Until then, to each their own.
Bring back battle res pet abilities for Hunters maybe?
Can we get blessing of might and mark of the wild back too? And horn of winter
Are old invis potions also useless?
I personally like the changes, this will make the meta "broader".
Useless Rogues !Useless Paladins ?
for me as healer removing ENG REZ is a big sad thing now people are even more wiling to bring Rdruid instead of other healers into the dungeons.had %0 impact on other classes but it was a nice thing for healers with no BR and + it's not brain dead like press and boom you ok i really hope they revert this change or give a similar item for SL
protest these changes 5% players drop ur subscription per week till it reverts
