the only thing thats not clear for me with those bans is how blizzard decided on supspension time, since ive got a week for 5 levels, someone got 2 days for 90 levels, etc etc(i had no previous suspensions btw)? is there any statements from blizzard explaning how they picked the lenght of bans?

Here’s a better example, the bank makes an error and you have $10,000 dollars in your account that you obviously know isn’t yours. Should be able to keep it because the bank shouldn’t have errors like that? Dumb entitled people
In lieu of opening: please bear with a 50+ years old geezer born way before the start of the internet, young uns. I am not trolling, I am a real old geezer who has enough spark in them to learn into computorz, just not to the extent you do.I am kinda glad my age makes things slow, because I did not even get to use one of those pots. I recently did powerlevel a toon... the old way. I spent 100k+ timewalking badges to upgrade my 'looms. 40% total from hat, shoulder, chest and legs. 5% from cloak, 5% from that sweet BfA gem which I plopped into a Garrosh heirloom weapon, and 10% total from rings. Yes, as an old geezer, I just ploodded through STV for years until FINALLY I won it and my ring with it. If I didn't have garrosh looms, I was prepped to go with a belt buckle on a cata crafted. Sure, low, but 5% is 5%.With that, 3 islands were worth a level up on full rested. Now, if I bought any of those potions, how am I to say it's NOT supposed to stack? Is that mentioned anywhere in the ToS, that potions never stack? I am prone to misclicks. My main does keep wandering about with 2h of flask left after raid just cuz' my fingers are so DAMN THICK.Oh sure, if Blizz had a "known bugs" place somewhere, and notified us, "oh by the way, that pot isn't supposed to work like that" then I'd be a-okay with the bans. Fine, you were told, you still did it... you suffer for it. But was that even announced? Even in a very veiled way as "we are aware that this pot can be exploited to drastically speed up leveling beyond intended levels, we're working to fix it"?Heck, afaik us in the socialist europ ghetto don't even HAVE a bug-report forum like americans do.Or are we now expected to just magically discern if something is not working as intended, and refrain because it might be abuse?Something here sounds wrong, or I just don't understand. But now I just feel like ignoring any new content, as it might be rigged with bugs that will get me banned... so how the heck do I play? Or maybe I should just let my sub run out, and wait it out for a while?
Relatively small ban for first time offenders that probably should've been for more. It's not about Blizz not "getting theirs" it's about devaluing the work that other people put/are putting in by doing it the legit way. Heritage armor is supposed to denote putting in the time; it's exactly why you don't unlock it with a boost. Exploiting your way to it undermines the overall value of the armor for everybody, because yes, somebody else having something does impact the value of mine. That concept is fundamental to how MMOs and loot economies work. If everybody got the latest Mythic mount drop for free, it's not nearly as impressive or special to see somebody with it. Same thing here.I'll take it one further and say that if you *still* have a problem with the leveling speed at this point, you're simply out of your mind. It was a problem when 60-80 was a slog, but with how painless that is these days, the overall speed of the process is totally within the boundary of fairness. For psychology reasons, I could see crunching the amount of levels but otherwise leaving the speed the same. It should mean something. It should be a journey, not something you just bang out in an afternoon. Why? For many of the same reasons that gearing shouldn't be too quick and too painless as well.
Banned for 2 days for exploit as I deserve, leveled from lvl 20-35. Logging in from another account, all I see is different lvl 1 spamming selling services for real money and bots in botanica farming gold.If you do banhammer, do on all not just some people.
Are they sending out emails with explainations? Or are players just logging into it? We might lose our raid healer lol
Maybe just maybe. Your customers don't enjoy how boring leveling is. Maybe? Or you can just punish them. That works too.
Good. Exploiters should be timed out if not outright permabanned."B-but Blizz put it in the game!"Clearly they didn't...intentionally. That's literally what we call "bugs" in games. Something unintentional. If you use something unintentional to your advantage, whether it be raiding or leveling, that is what is called "exploiting". As per the TOS, you're not supposed to do it. If you can't comprehend that, then that's your own fault if you get banned. No one is to blame except YOU."But leveling is hard/tedious!"Leveling has never been easier or faster. Tedious? Sure, but there's ways to speed up the process without breaking the TOS. Dungeons for the quests and War Mode make it exponentially faster. Heirlooms even moreso with those. You can probably hit max in about a week or two if you play nonstop. It's that easy. I've been playing since BC and have seen the content a lot more than 8 times. I also am a altoholic so....I know my way around leveling. It's really easy to do. If you can't handle leveling, then don't play alts. No one is making you repeat the content you don't wanna play. Stick to your main.
Why is leveling so "painful"? Do people really think once they hit 120 on one character all their other toons should autoboost to 120?
Remember kids. If you buy gold or power level it's a ban, but buying gold via wowtoken or buying a boost is A-OK.I get it, they're a business and it's their game, but man is it hypocritical whenever they pull this crap.
Justice and deserved.
