This answers exactly nothing. Let me guess: This will yet be another mystery we may never know the answer to, right? Like who was behind destroying Admiral Taylor's garrison in Spires of Arak or Alternate Cho'gall's master in Highmaul. And Old Gods? Why then would the void fear Sylvanas (judging what they whisper to Alleria) if she does its biding my simply existing in her position of power?
It can't anything else than N'Zoth, or Mue'Zhala as N'Zoth's pawn. Any other answer ignores all developments so far. Old Gods are pretty much set in stone as endgame.
GENN GRAYMANE! he wants her DEAD!
I really really don't think it's the Old Gods or N'zoth. The Void whispers to Alleria were just too frantic to elimnate Sylvanas for that to make sense.Clearly the story in BfA is going to have N'zoth in it, given the Azshara warbringer, that's probably the end boss of whatever the final raid will be in BfA.But the story with Sylvanas may be getting set up for the future and not BfA.There has to be some new big bad after N'zoth is gone for us to face. The Void Lords themselves fit. But with the Legion out of the picture, something out of the Death cosmology domain could be there too.Mue'zhala certainly fits the bill as an entity that could be part of the Death domain, and maybe not a true "loa" the way Bwonsamdi and the others are, something else that teh Zul'Farak trolls worshipped as a loa
Blizz should explain why the Horde keep getting temporary leaders since Thrall.
Call me crazy but i think wrathion has something to do with this. Maybe he is not that free of the corruption as he told us in MoP. Maybe he is a herald of n'zoth and is now trying to start a faction war once again but this time to weaken both sides and not to unite them like in the past. Would also explain his absence during Legion and see azeroth weakend by the war against the Legion.
It for sure sounds evil, but Eyir says "You have been touched by the hand of valor. Such a noble force does not scheme for mortal thrones."Or just like the Titans were creatures of the Arcane and Sargeras opposed them with Fel, Life and Death can have their respective entities.Maybe he went to the Light Lords outside this reality? Their intentions are confusing, can't wait to see what it is, but then again it might be Ny'alotha where he went. They might also pull off a Kerrigan with Sylvanas.
Oh boy! Who's ready to make Sylvanas into a raid boss? Thanks Blizzard for being creative enough to give us Garrosh 2.0
I still bet that the guy who whispered Vol'jin was Mueh'zala. It contradicts my previous take he is Bwonmon's boss, but he is dark, powerful and want to destroy Azeroth. What is more concerning now is who returned Vol'jin back, noble power, noble in the eyes of Val'kyre... Elune? Some random Naaru? Some uber loa we don't know about yet?
I can't help but think those ''Whispers'' Vol'jin receives are from Kil'Jaden... I know he's dead, but seems like his MO besides N'zoth's
Supposedly, Helya is still a force to be dealt with once more from what I've been hearing...perhaps she had a hand in it all? Then, we have no real clue as to what could or would of been powerful enough to bring Vol'jin back but my gut is telling me it was something within the realm of Light / Wild Gods / other things that could of done such things, though Vol'jin has no real memory of any "Loa" being present but his memory isn't completely reliable at the moment. I would be willing to bet on this vague guess over anything else I've heard of so far as this kind of makes the most sense unless it's something even higher in ranking among the forces of death/life which messed with him...? Who knows, we'll likely have our answer however, in a future patch.
It can't be an old god, the whispers told her sister to kill her. It was the naaru! The shadow shows all realities the light shows one. Look what went on with Yrel.
I'd like to counter the whole "Void told Aleria to kill Sylvanas" thing; it's HIGHLY likely the void in Aleria was feeding on her doubts and fears to control her. Less "Void want's sylvanas dead" and more "Void wants a puppet".
