Not trying to be annoying or tell people off just an alternate interpretation.
Oh look. Yet again "lol old gods made -insert random powerful NPC here- cray-cray!". Can we stop with this trope, please? It's over-used and so freakin' old -.-.
Comeon guys don't be boring! Sargeres whispered the Name! And finnaly we can become what we should have became long time ago... The scourge of thousend worlds who will destroy the void. But firsly we must wipe out the allince...
I have suspected from the start that Sylvanas's actions were being manipulated by N'zoth, wants this war to weaken and distract both sides while he gains the strength he needs to resurface, and to allow Queen Ashara to do what ever she is going to do for him/ with him. I predict by the end of this all we will be some kind of friends again and bfa will become legion 2.0 where we all fight a common foe, until the next expansion when we decide were bored and go back to fighting each other until the next big bad (possibly the Void Lords) show up and we take a break from hating each other again. At some point Blizzard is going to run out of villains and the game will ether end finally or we will have endless expansions of us just doing battle grounds and war fronts.
I still don't think Sylvanas is going to be a villain by the end of this. Blizzard put a lot of hype around Sylvanas as an icon of the Horde they wouldn't do that if her role was to be a villain. There's something else going on here.
Most of the people replying to this thread are really dense and can't see the forest for the trees. My speculations are proving to be accurate to some degree so far. What I can tell you is simply this; That which even the Old Gods fear does exist and has motives and desires of its own. A force that is darker than even that of the void. Listen to me when I tell you that there is no true master of death, that death is in itself the master.
"dark implications"what.
We will find it out soon enough.
When I first read Eyir's statements it made me think of Odyn or at least someone of Titanic origin but not all of it makes sense...however far as we know Odyn now freed returned to Ulduar and at the time of Voljin's death he would've been unable to leave the Halls of Valor.
All of you are just assuming stuff. No clue what so ever.Maybe wait for more dialogue to be datamined or implemented in the game ? Eh...
I'll bet my ass off it was Kel'Thuzad who orchestrated everything.
what the hell, rastakhan dies...
