Or you know they could revert it back to how it was pre their stupid " fix " I mean what was the point in changing how it worked to begin with?
the thought that this was intentional occured to me... but i quickly was like ' naaah, why would they do something so hindering to players... but... it is blizzard tho...'i would love to hear a reason they had to change it in the first place, i mean any reason
I found a post in the customer support forum explaining the reasoning behind the change. Apparently it's because of server-side problems. https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/blazing-ingot-quest-dead/906303/101
No. We didn't ask for faster respawns, we asked for a complete reversion. This is the game we play, Blizzard, stop insisting that we play it how you want and revert this to how WE want it. It's us that have to deal with competing for WQ credit because of this change, and we don't want that. And that is what matters. Normally I'd say there's a middle ground between fan demand and developer vision, but this isn't some passionately crafted creative idea, this is just inconvenience for players, so I don't care what Blizzard wants. Change it back.
Hey blizzard ever heard the expression "if it ain't broken don't fix it?" It's a pretty common one.Stop with this whole "this quality of life aspect is too good, let's make it slightly harder so this area feels more dangerous".Want to add challenge in the game? Cool do it! Add some complicated and interesting raid bosses, dungeon mechanics, challenging solo content etc... Removing quality of life aspects doesn't make the game more challenging and interesting, it makes it frustrating and off-putting. And yes I know this is wowhead and not blizzard, but looks like blizz reads wowhead forums more than their own EU ones so shush!
More evidence that Blizzard devs don't play their own games.
Just revert the useless changes and let it be shared already, no one was bothering with these quests what's it gonna be now
"blizz only cares about $$$", "who asked for this", "fun police", "devs dont play their own game", blahblahblah. think about what you're actually complaining about here -- quest items on the ground, not being shared, for ONE world quest. this is far from being the only quest in WoW where people can't loot the same quest item on the ground, yet we aren't raising are pitchforks about any of those other quests. it's such a tiny change, barely causing an inconvenience, to a WQ not that many people even do. yet here we are 90+ comments deep on wowhead with people losing their freakin minds. if blizz doesn't listen to the community its because of threads like this that prove people will literally complain about everything. our "feedback" for blizzard at this point is literally just noise.
Multiboxers farming herbs and ores with a single click no problemo sharing quest items oh nononononono we can't have that.
I called BS on the animacones when the patch hit. there are very few quests in ardenweald i even bother with because of the time they take to complete. after legion my attitude was only do the quickest possible world quests screw these grindy fill the bar or kill X X X. Ive lvled 12 alts through fate and for all of them the only quests i would touch in ardenweald were, a matter of stealth, animacones, pupa troopa, glitterwing pet battle. I dont know if it was a change but after doind pupa troopa probably 50-60 times now all the sudden im getting attacked by moths... either i was lucky the first crazy number of times or they are trying to slow down world quests. The approach to world quests is annoying..... its content we got sick of 2 expansions ago and bfa made it more tolerable you could just run in 1 and done kills to get your stuff done now were back tracking?same reason we cant do flight train quests in fate they are locked to lvl 60s because those quests are quicker and actually slightly fun. blizzards war on fun and turning the game into a waste of time is going to be the death of retail
Meanwhile herds of druid bots are hoovering up herbs, moonbois are farming raw gold, the dungeon finder is infested with sellers. But let's annoy people with a ridiculous change.
Not good enough blizzard. Revernt the change or this quest or might as well be deleted.

Or...They can completely revert back to group looting originally. :V
