I'm just gonna keep refusing to do these quests from now on. Like anything trivial they make awful for the sole purpose of pissing off their players.
just have them be shared jfc, what is the possible reasoning for this... I play retail because I HATE the bs item stealing in classic
This is Bliz'ard being Bliz'ard, nothing new to see here...
Why change it in the first place?
Doesn't matter how fast they respawn... this change isn't fun. I don't want to fight for looting quest items with anyone. The reward isn't worth the effort. So... I still won't be doing these.
Gotta love when Blizzard tries to take credit for "fixing" a problem they themselves intentionally created only to further get called out by the playerbase for their blatant lies. The changes to the animacone WQ was reported within a day of patch 9.0.5. going live but no acknowledgement of the issue went out, suggesting Blizzard was fully aware and were simply caught red-handed adding any little time gates they can sneak in.
They only do that because of backlash. And not even fully reverting those garbage change it seems...
What was wrong with the way they worked before where they were simply personal loot? Of all the things to mess around with this aint one that needed touching.
Blizzard CEO: People aren't spending as much time in the maw any more...Programmer: I got an idea!
Wowhead coming thru again
So based on this fix, the removal of shared looting was intentional.Again, what is wrong with Blizzard? They really know how to make people not want to play their game better than anyone.
are u stupid or something ? dps is important as well as those are too dont forget this is a MMORPG game not a dps meter
Ahh Blizzard, always have to insert pvp wherever possible. Players just aren't allowed to enjoy the game are they.
I hate The Maw and never go there. Now I'm even less likely to visit that crummy zone. What's wrong Blizzard, wasn't making players suffer enough? lol
> Identify a non-issue.> "Fix" it in a way that makes it an issue.> Fix the "fix" in a way that doesn't actually address the issue instead of just reverting the original fix.Classic Blizzard.
I wish they would fix weekly soul gathering in the maw, or at least make multiple gathering possible. They nerfed respawn times and ranged spawns of them. So you can no longer sit at 1 location and attack 3 from ranged and have them spawn on top of you. Getting 20 souls a week for 2-3 toons is a hassle even with a mount. you can overcap them though it seems.
Even when I first saw the news of this "change" I thought it must be a bug. Why can't people understand that sometimes changing a variable in the code can mess up something completely unexpected? And to all those guys who ask "why not revert it?" it's probably because that change meant something new was implemented in 9.0.5 and it'd break if they just revert this change. At least that's how I see this thing
