Always a caster. I love being able to kill stuff from the distance.

I generally prefer to play a Melee Dps Class, get up in the action and kick some butt kind of thing not to mention the whole couple of chuckles when the boss or particularly tough mob dies and being able to shout "SKULLS FOR THE SKULLS THRONE".If not playing as a melee dps class I can live with being an off tank cause it's the same fun just more survivability.
I love to play the spellcaster type of person. in KoA.. ill probably go with a sneaky spellcaster.. nothing better than that (:
Mages, usually :) And the dark ones, preferably :D Even though it will be a Barb in D3 first :)Thanks for the opportunity, cheers
Depends on the game but generally always have a rogue type and a caster type (like warlock). I am not much of a run into the heart of battle type. I prefer to kill from a distance.
I typically play some form of thief type. I'm always curious what's hidden behind locked doors and being a sneaky thief tends to make that easier. I don't like being told I cannot go someplace...
It's strange. On console games, when allowed, I'm always some type of support character. Weather it be healer, buffer, stay in the back and take out targets, I like support. In every MMO I've played my favorite thing to do is tank, which I guess could be argued as a type of support so say my friends. So there it is, weather it be healer/buffer/tank support is where its at. With out us, the strong can't survive.
I'm Erasto, and I usually play a class that surprises. With that I don't mean I'm playing rogues and other steathy characters, but more of the kind you wouldn't expect. Whenever a class has something special, suprising on him, I will begin to like it. Generally speaking I will like a class less simple it will be. In World of Warcraft this resulted in an Enhancement Shaman (yes, pretty simple, I know) but while playing them you hardly see the damage coming when all of the Stormstrikes, Lava Lash and Windfury procs crit. In KoA I will probably come down to playing a Universalist, but I will have to see the game for myself!
I tend to play Thief/Rogues/Warriors the most.I enjoy fighting in the front lines, preferrably with a good amount of speed in my weapon swings.
Healer, I always wind up healing
Who doesn't love sneaking around and slitting your opponents throats? Rogues/Stealthy classes are straight up the way to go. (I even rhymed that @#$%)
I usually play a stealthy assassin/thief character... in every game but WoW lol
I generally gravitate towards straight dps. i prefer a rogue like character, sneaky and fast big hits but also like the caster idea too. either way, i normally start every rpg with a DPSer.
I generaly always play a healer, though not the pure healing type i like doing other things whenever i dont have to heal, deal a little damage, or other usefull things for the group. If a game does not allow me to do this though i tend to lean towards a caster type, but in terms of Kingdoms of Amalur i dont think i'd have any easy time picking a specific class since they all look very interesting ^_^
I usually play hunters like classes... if not bow are available, so I play snipers or long distance guns :)
