Does this mean that the Condor/Flagship guys will come back and make the Diablo franchise good again?

I agree that forming groups across regional barriers where the servers are in different languages is a really poor idea, and leads to a lot of frustration. I have no idea what Blizzard could have been thinking when this was decided. It builds animosity between the player bases, makes coordinated LFR fights a nightmare to explain, and makes it hard for us to direct new players in dungeons who don't know what not to stand in.I think that there are a lot of features of other MMO's that would be nice if they were added to WoW, but probably wouldn't draw huge numbers (though they may help with retention). I thought Pet Battles were really smart to add, I think housing would appeal to a lot of casual players, I think a mercenary system for solo play could be fun for roleplayers, etc. But I don't think WoW NEEDS any of this.I think that as the game gets older, as more games come out and new players who have no time in any game yet have more options, and as newer game engines come out, WoW is just going to shrink. It's not that the game is getting worse- it's just that technology doesn't have great staying power because they tend to be constantly innovating.
So, taking a wild completely not specific estimate, if WoW lost 600k subscribers roughly every quarter and had no gains in subs, then, WoW has around 3-ish more years of content. So, to the haters, take a sip of water because your trolling will be going on for a long time still.Random idea: Azeroth amusement park, where, similar to Universal's Halloween Horror Nights, you can venture in haunted houses decorated as the other factions strongholds. :)
All they have to do is turn off CRZ and the subs will come flocking back.Cheers.
There were people who left because of CRZ. There were people who left because their server was too dead and CRZ didn't help them in Pandaria. There are people who left because of Pandarens. There are people who left because of pet battles. There are people who left because of talent changes. There are people who left because of PvP changes. There are people who left because the Blizzard Pet Store opened. There are people who left because Death Knights were overpowered. There were people who left because the Blood Elves are horde. There are people who left because of skimpy vanilla armor models on females. There are people who left because they cut the raids down from 40 to 25 people, because there's no challenge. There are people who left because no one ever can get 40 people. There are people who left because they never got a chance to raid. There are people who left because everyone gets a chance to raid. There are people who leave because they don't feel like there's any solo content. There are people who leave because the game requires too much solo content.I think that different groups of people like different things about the game, and Blizzard is trying to keep it balanced to keep the most subscribers they can. If don't follow changes in gaming trends, new gamers will not stick after they try it, and old gamers get bored and leave. If they do change, existing players will complain about it and leave. Any change (or lack of change) they make is going to cost them some player somewhere. I think that no matter how good a game, movie or song is, the longer it is around the smaller the audience it appeals to is. Technology improves and tastes change, and newer media is tailored more to those tastes, and use that technology. New media is heavily promoted when it is released, less so as new media comes out to replace it for top billing. Part of the appeal of media is that it is new, and too much repetition leads to it having less entertainment value than when it was new. In addition, for a large percentage of people video games are something that there is less and less time for as they get older, have more responsibilities, have kids, etc., and some people just give it up because they're too busy.I have really liked most of the changes (not all of them). For many, though, I can understand why other people might not. For some complaints, I have no earthly idea why people are upset. Eventually, a new game will come out that steals me from Wow, or I will get bored of my own accord, or will find that I don't have enough time to make any real progress with it, and I'll stop playing. It doesn't mean that the game screwed up- it means the game, like pretty much any game, has a half-life.
this would be a really selfish request..but if i were to be baited back to coming to world of warcraft in an INSTANT. 1. create gnome hunters, and give them optional machine robotic pets as a bonus. pet fighter chocobo, pet bear, pet cat.or2. change the event RNG loots to 100%, so that when something drops, it goes to the specific class. example, slave pens against the ice boss, have the halberd drop 100% of the time for casters. =)(T__T)9
