Guess Nomi DID Burn Teldrassil, he's with the Nightborne! :P
I'm confused, if the Horde is now ruled by a council then why is High Chieftain Baine the only Horde Council member to decide on this?
I have been thoroughly unimpressed by the overall writing this expansion, but this one questline has to be the most ridiculous one they've added this far. Imagine a scenario where a race seeks to join the Horde, but is denied the entry, so the employ YOU to feed the peons, manage the poorly run wine production and do what you do best - a.k.a. kill everything in sight - aaaaaand this somehow convinces the Horde to change their mind regarding this race joining. At this point why have lore anymore. These recruitment scenarios are completely useless: they were supposed to give us a good reason for why is the race joining the Horde, but this one is nothing more than a comic relief made of re-used meta-jokes. Not to mention Vulpera themselves are a joke of a race with no history that has less of a basis to exist than even void elves (those were at least given history, no matter how flimsy it was). I wouldn't have issues with vulpera just because they're a race of fox people, if they were more developed, but as we can see here, they are not.I kept giving Blizzard a pass with questionable narrative choices in the past, like in case of out-of-the-blue mag'har orc scenario, but this one shows way too clearly that they don't care about lore anymore, but rather have willingness to twist it however they want. Gone are the chances for actually nuanced story telling like we had before, pop culture references and fan service is all that is left.
Aaahhh... I like to point out a mistake giving by Blizzard. How do these Vulpera know anything outside of Vol’dun? So how does Kiro know about Suramar and the Twilight Highlands? Just saying! Let alone how to get there! How would they need to know where to go if they never traveled outside their home?
Seems like they are about finished working on this race. Really wish mechagnomes and vulpera would come before patch 8.3 to give us altaholics something to do while we wait for 8.3 to come out whenever that may be. But i suppose diverting time from the actual new content may give the illusion of making the patch seem longer but in reality we all know we are going to piledrive through all the fetch/kill quests in like half an hour and dead halt to the last raid of the expansion for the next 4+ months or so...
