I'll donate all my money to charity, the day a warlock spec isn't insanely overtuned
Some minor balancing hotfixes every 1-2 weeks would be nice(fury needs one of those 5% buffs i think)
i'm done caring about these charts cuz they just represent which classes had world first guilds feed them power infusion and fae guardians the most each week - literally who gives a !@#$most of the time i encounter the classes at the top of this list out in the PUG world, they are terrible and do no damage, because they FOTM swapped to it, and shocker, aren't actually any goodBut I bet this content is a real good click generator for wowhead, we cant help but argue can we
And this is mainly raid perspective I presume (assuming the numbers are right). Destro and SV are top DPS in M+ too, and deal really well with movement and 'not being in range' (in case of SV, in comparison with other melee). If you look closer to the boss damage, excluding the warlocks, most of the 'DoT' specs go near the top, including, again, SV, which doesn't burst like MM, but in longer fights, like higher difficulties and raids, their DPS drops faster than SV's, which is slow, but tend to stay on top more time, unless mechanics make them move out for longer periods of time or make the boss imune somehow, within the first 15-30s.Population is changing too, but we keep seeing some 'stubborn' in the bottom haha. Those specs aren't 'that broken', they do deal good DPS, but in more competitive environment... In the end it's as people say: play with the one you're more comfortable with, at least first, but I'd add, don't deny other specs just because... You could really end up with more options, and somehow enjoying something you just blocked yourself out.
Didn't they just buff Arcane?
Can we make a deal that in the next Xpack for a change all Warlock specs will be at the bottom and atleast 2 out of 3 Mage specs will be top? Thank you.
I know I'm probably gonna ruffle some feathers with this comment but, You guys do realize these dps charts are for current content MYTHIC difficulty. Not everyone who plays is gonna see current content mythic difficulty. The average player is gonna play what they want, so what if they want to play a balance druid, so what if they want to play a BM hunter, that's their choice cause they like the class. They shouldn't have to be forced to play the class they don't want to, yet feel they have to, to avoid being ridiculed for playing a LESS THAN PERFECT spec. This is the real reason why so many people have left WoW, it's all the elitists that keep saying, 'Oh if you don't play <Insert spec here> you are a bad player who doesn't know how to play. Prime example, Reckful, played a subtlety rogue when the top rogue spec was assassination, and hit the high ranks DESPITE PLAYING AN INFERIOR SPEC. What I'm saying is, to those who play what they want, play what you want, and don't let those elitists tell you that you aren't good enough... Be like Reckful and prove them wrong.
Omg...Destro warlock on top? Has that ever happened before in WoW's history? We're usually among the bottom 5.
Remember when the initial fury nerfs were twice as big? Remember when people told Blizzard that half way into heroic difficulty was too early to be doing class nerfs? Wonder why those heavy handed nerfs never happen to any other class.
