So I play Horde right?...I can't really tell you, so I'll show you. They put up a bad fight...Come to think of it... I would've too.For those who don't get it: Look in the lower left corner.
I'd have to say my most epic loot was when I finally got my emerald whelpling, it was the last of the whelps I needed to complete out my set, took me days of farming to get it.

My most epic lewt would have to be Shadowfang from Shadowfang Keep (it is an extremely rare sword which is sought after by many level 19 twinks). I had heard of people farming Shadowfang Keep for days and never finding it, some people said it was nearly impossible to get it. Different story with me, I was very bored one night on my rogue and decided to do a run through Shadowfang Keep for the heck of it. Was not expecting it to drop at all. I ended up selling it to a twink for 2000 gold. It was truly, truly, epic.
Hm... What is 'Epic'? Is it a thing? A feeling? Or managing to tame an impossible-to-tame pet that one in a million people have? I'd have to say... all of the above. I have an obsession, I'll admit. I'm a rare-pet collector. Ever since I created my level 75 blood elf huntress, I've been on the lookout for rare or amazingly skinned beasts to tame. I started with Rak'shiri, then went to Humar the Pridelord (black lion) and so forth. What was I looking for? The pet that would turn every other hunter a jade-green shade of envy? Or a partner that would be able to kick butt and win names at my side? Both of those. Yep. For sure. For awhile I was satisfied with my series of cats and bears, but when I hit 71 I knew they weren't making the cut anymore. The bears were... one-dimensional, and the cats died faster then I could heal. I needed a new pet. That was the solution I came up with to solve this disheartening dilemma. After reaching that conclusion I began to peruse Petopia and similar sites, searching for a skin that caught my eye. Idly scrolling down the Pet Gallery, I yawned, not thinking I'd ever find one. That is, until I spotted a certain pet and fell instantly in love.Gezzarak the Huntress. 72 Elite warp stalker. Purple and glowing green skin, 59,000 hp and a nasty temper to match her formidable health bar. Despite this setback, I was immediately drawn to her. She was the ultimate pet. I set out with a planned vengence to tame her, researching and scheming. She had a wicked knockback, no aggro table, and was resistant to traps and the like. Oooo, a challenge. First, I got to 72, then I began farming the summoning scrolls that were required to summon her. Armed with 30 scrolls, enough for three summons, I called together the calvary from my guild, enlisting a paladin, a rogue and a feral druid to help me tame her. I was certain of success. All they had to do was stun her in succession. Easily done... Or so I thought. All 30 scrolls were wasted as we found out what exactly we were up against. This warp stalker ate players like us for breakfast. We went out like moths in a flame against the Huntress. Disheartened, I went back to farming, this time getting enough for 4 summons. My guildies opted out, recommending I recruit a bunch of paladins to help. That I did, offering a reward and eternal servitude should we manage to succeed. Of course, I knew it would never work. Paladin stuns, if done in succession, decrease over time, the mob becoming resistant. But what the heck, why not.With three paladins at my side, we launched the assault. The first summon was an utter failure, with Gezzarak taking a liking to one of the paladins, who was healing me, and ignored me all together, except when she warped to smack me around for some fun.The second time started just as bad, with her beating up the healer while I prodded my 'tame beast' macro helplessly. All seemed lost, until... She caught my scent. Like lightening she aggroed to me, and I hit the tame button faster then... an arrow from my Wrathtide Longbow. Yes. I actually just said that. No, you may not laugh.The tame timer is a full 20 seconds, and I was only three seconds in when one of the paladins decided to stun her, just to experiment. I despaired, knowing that 5 seconds of stun was not going to make a difference. But miracle of miracles, my timer bar was down to 12 seconds when the second paladin jumped in. 9 seconds. No. Too much time. She would eat me, or knock me back, and we'd have to wait for the stun timer... But wait. With a heroic leap, the healer landed on top of Gezzarak. With 5 seconds left, they stunned her as well. 3. 2.... 1. TAMED. The most elite of elite, the beastiest of the beasts was mine. I paid my aids well, and heaped eternal praise on them as Gezzarak, now Freyja, named after the chief goddess of the Norse, stood proudly at my side, eyeing me like a bug. This most epic tame and gain is now a story of the past, though Freyja is still with me, with her very own summoning macro as she appears in a flash of lightning. But even thinking about it gives me a good feeling. Now, whenever a hunter whispers me with, 'where'd you get that pet?' I go back to that day, remembering how I screamed, knocked over my chair, ran around the room and almost collapsed from nerves... All because I had made the most epic tame in the game. Period.
After months and months of Hyjal I finally got a Chronicle of Dark Secrets... and then it started dropping every week ;_;
Well the most EPIC drop ive ever have drop for me would be the Sunfury Bow of the Phoenix... I was waiting 3 long months of straight up farming that place before it dropped, and I rolled a 100 to win it... God was it a good feeling.
I remember when my guild had finally gotten Majordomo down for the first time and the Ancient Petrified Leaf dropped. That was by far my most epic moment because of all the good memories that happened and the super long memorable quest chain that made me travel all over the world to places I hadn't even really discovered before.Once I actually got my Rhok'delar I remember just constantly switching it back and forth just to make sure it was real.
I'd say my most epic day was the day i farmed ALL the mats for the Spellstrike set, both pieces, loooong day! lol
