Definitely my first epic... http://www.cuckhead.com/?item=19874 (Halberd of Smiting!)...Dropped in ZG, my first raid and I mean come on... how much more epic can you get than an item that has... Not a chance to hit, or chance to blast... a chance to DECAPITATE! Though the proc rate stunk :PTruly epic.
As a tankadin, I have always helped guildies out by taking them thru low level dungeons to give them a boost. I am always amazed what a tankadin is able to survive solo, let alone with an aggro grabbing low level in tow. But my most epic moment doing this was when I took my wife's alt into the SM Cathedral and really pushed the limits. I ran thru the whole instance dropping concencrate and spamming my AoE's and didn't stop till I was at the door to the Cathedral. It was truly amazing to see my screen totally filled with numbers flying up everywhere. I proceded to do the same inside, it was a good day....
I have been running Zul'Farrak for a long while, both on my own characters and for others. So one day not too long ago (about two weeks before WOTLK came out) I was running my girlfriend through Zul'Farrak to level one of her alts and this epic dropped randomly. Both her and I were speechless for a second because it was the first time both her and I have seen it drop. The drop was Blackskull Shield (http://www.cuckhead.com/?item=1169). Neither of us could use it as I am a mage and she was a shaman so she took it straight to the Auction House after the run and sold it overnight for 500 gold. The item wasn't in the Auction House so we didn't know how much to sell it for but nonetheless it sold and we split the gold. The drop rate says 0.0% so, to me, that was the most epic drop I've seen.

My most epic loot drop was the first time we set foot in sunwell, I had been dreaming for a while about the new engy goggle upgrades and just wrote them off as, oh well, I'll never get them. Very first trash drop we got, there the recipe was! Being the only holy paladin in the raid they go to me! That night I crafted them and enjoyed being able to sport my goggles 100% of the time again.
Getting the Furious Shackles from Hyjal Summit - my only T6 gear (ever) - the night before WoLK opened. Everything else I have is T4 or thereabouts. Ah, glorious!
Well it was this time when we we're doing Headless Horseman. I was so lucky to join at my 65 Mage just to try it. A guy said he was here for the mount, like.. who wasn't?. So we went in and started fighting Headless Horseman, but only rings dropped. I felt sad because I wanted the mount. But the 4th kill or something I looted him and there I saw it: http://www.cuckhead.com/?item=37012.All clicked Need asap but I waited a bit. If i lost it now, it would be almost impossible to get it again. So i Clicked need and I rolled highest. I was so happy that I teleported me to Ironforge asap and mounted outside bank /dance :DThe most EPIC loot I have ever won!
When I finally got my Helicopter. It took me 4 days to farm for the cash and about 3 hours to mine all the materials needed to make it. Now I can fly in Northernd and Outlands WOOH!Only If I had my epic flyer now.
Waaaaay back before TBC my brother ran Sunken Temple hundreds of times, looking for the Elusive Dragon's call (http://www.cuckhead.com/?item=10847) He really wanted little dragons to pop out all the time for him. After a month of farming he gave up though (I guess he didn't really want it THAT bad)A week later he was running me through ST with my 55 rogue (my first time there on that toon) on his 60 mage, and after killing Erinikus, guess what fell, and guess who was the ONLY person in the party who needed the sword?:P I then equipped Dragons call and proceeded to aggro the mobs we hadn't killed earlier and got lucky with 2 sword procs and then vanished so my dragons could tank those mobs, all while I /danced in front of my now aggravated Brother. Thanks and a shoutout from McStabbers to Kython, thanks for the run bro haha!
The most epic piece of loot for me was after doing Kara for over a month, I was finally able to roll on my first token. One of my most epic moments though was after grinding LW for months and the final mats for weeks, I was finally able to create my epic LW set which got me in to those Kara runs in the first place :)
The most epic lewt i have ever won is the Staff of Infinite Mysteries. Sure it may not be that great, but when u go to kara for 3 months straight and the dang thing never drops for you, itll put a great big smile on ur face when it finally does!
