Say bb to annoying tree like ruby life pool xD
I'd rather have the same stuff that, for example, tree foliage/branches has in MoP. You could test it yourself even en Remix, flying around, let's say, Dread Wastes, when you pass the tree's leaves/branches, the camera 'changes' the perspective to First Person, so you see what's ahead of your character, then move back when you're getting farther. In raids as mentioned (even DGs), the one on the post wouldn't make it possible to see bad AoE on the ground, for example, the MoP one would force you to notice those. Some AoE can be hit kill if not noticed in time. This one should be only for open world, swap this for MoP, for open world, and MoP one for instances.
This silhouette thing is nice and all, but what the game really needs is to remove camera collision from objects. Let the camera phase through walls especially in order to maintain the player's zoom level no matter where they're at. The camera shouldn't be a 'mechanic' that players occasionally have to fight against.
20 years and they finally found a solution for the dreaded camera super-quick zoom-in and zoom-out when, say, a tree eclipses between the player viewpoint and the character location.
My motion sickness thanks you.
I feel like people are missing that this will only make your character visible... not the ground effects you might be trying to avoid. They stay hidden.
Would be better if it was for objects as well. no more columns causing your camera to bounce
This is not only long overdue, but it's also still lacking in what some other games already offer. Rather than making the silhouette of the character visible through the object, we need the option to make the object obscuring your character become semi-transparent. Reason being, when you are doing something like Ruby Life Pools and there is a giant one-shot boulder coming at you, but your camera is suddenly stuck in the trees, you need to be able to see the SPELLS beyond the tree too, not just your character, to make sure you aren't standing in fire, or in the path of that boulder, or any other swirlies. Seeing the vague outline of your character doesn't mean jack if you can't also see the things trying to kill you.
Baffles my mind that the game can't just hide clutter that obscures your camera. With how deadly swirlies are in m+ I shouldn't die because a leaf flashed over my screen and blinded me
Why would black be the color for visibility?
