Ya’ll wait for the XP potion coming to the Blizzard store for 20€. This is what all this is about, ya’ll see. 🤣
As always wowhead comments are full of complaining. The overall xp needed from 1 to 110 is lower than it was needed when Legion was fresh and they STILL complain about the xp.
It's still broken and ridiculous and there are still some dumb fanboys defending blizzard by refusing to accept that in the end this wasn't done to anything other than to encourage the purchase of boosts or to make things take longer so they earn more in subscriptions. They want to believe in the "improving leveling experience" lie.
You can tell a lot of people have no arguments for why leveling isn't in a bad state currently because all they can do is strawman those with valid complaints as "kids that aren't happy with anything and would even complain if they just had to hit one button to get to 110."
We require 7.0.3 XP amount or riot!
I like slower and progressive leveling ... enjoying the ride, not just aim to the maxlevel.why everybody want to reach there so fast, so they can have more time to complain about theres nothing to do at max level ...... but i think that a system that for each toon you level to max gives u a discont on boosts... and a system of boosts in diferent levels (with respective prices) its an interesting idea.
I don't care about 1-60. I don't care about 80-110. But thank you Blizzard for lessening the amount needed in the 60-80 range. That is the most horrible range in the game.
Just finished a void elf to max. Took a little over 3 days /played. Working on a light forge and leveling is moving at a reasonable pace but I am dreading 60 to 80. There are problems with 60 to 80 that are probably due to the fact that those zones still have quests that were designed pre-cata. With cataclysm blizzard redesigned the quest flow of sub 60 and post 80 zones. They also introduced new flight masters in all old zones and made them more plentiful in the new zones. This is a design philosophy they have acarried into each new xpac but is sorely lacking in Outland and northrend. I think that 60 to 80 seems awful for people simply because nothing about them is efficient and it is right in the middle of what would otherwise be a smooth experience. Lowering the xp should help some but it does not address the issue that makes it seem bad. We need better quest flow and more FP in Outland and northrend, or a way to skip them all together.
With all my heirlooms and war mode on that's a 60% XP boost. I spent about 8h leveling on the weekend and went from 20 to 48. I did this all in one zone, Ashenvale. Although the biggest challenge for me is going to be making it past outlands, I have several 60-70's that I just abandoned because of the slow leveling in this zone, nevermind Northrend. Hopefully, the boost will make leveling my Highmountain Druid more bear-able in those zones.
Like I said it’s a start but I still wish there was an option for veteran players (you know the ones that have already been there done that) to level faster without having to pay blizz fifty quid per character, it could be a toy that grants an xp boost below x level that way it is an option players have, if they don’t want to level as fast they don’t have to use the toy (as some people seam to think you can’t do a quest if it’s gray or something, not that that is a problem now with the level scaling) so as I was saying options it’s always nice to have them.
