actual wishlist: not just be there for mystic touch
I don't want to be pushed to play melee, for me personally keeping both playstyles was the fun part about mw. aTOM is also annoying to use as it spends our biggest heals (from sunrise kicks) on people that barely need healing, they should make it more a smart heal, as biggest issue for current MW for me is very limited control over our healing - it just goes to someone.
If holy power can work for all paladin specs why can't chi work for all monks?

This is annoying i really enjoy the Niuzao play style without the cheesing of sitting for crit, also saying its wildly degenerate is BS as with previous tiers we didn't have this dmg from Niuzao most of it is coming from he teir set and its hp % increase.
The real wish for mistweaver imo is to bring back Chi and Mana tea as it was before.The idea of poor play resulting in NO mana cause you had no stacks was exciting to me - as well as a "combo point" based healer is unique and exciting. I also truly miss REM Uplift spam.The move in legion to vivify healing multiple targets was also a good one they were peak fun to play - and had the Artifact Spell to make up for our complete lack of single target healing besides spamming them with the same spell 100 times. The issue i have with MW now is that REM bounces around willy nilly - and you cant reliably group heal as youd like or react to group wide burst damage quickly as it's very hard to get every member of even a dungeon group (let alone raid group) blanketed in Renewing Mists and the vivify cleave heal to REM targets isn't high enough.Fistweaving isn't fun in its current iteration either - blocking it behind essence font with the legendary ancient teachings of the monastery your heals end up going where you dont want and you're unable to reliably heal who you'd like i.e rising sun kick burst heals the non tank for example and you now have to go to caster mode. Same with renewing mist bouncing around where you dont necessarily want it at times ( I.e - Renewing mist sits on a range who may be low health - but not in danger of losing more health. And you want to reliably cleave heal the melee for a while but REM isnt where it needs to be.). So you end up single target spam casting to get the group up it feels horrible and like you don't have control over who gets your heals and you cant reliably react to burst windows.TLDR - If we reinstated how MW was at legion it would be better. Secondary nod to renewing mist uplift spam in WOD.
I like Angry Dave being a means to push big damage. Don't take that away, this isn't a wish list, juts because you don't like it. Many thanks love it. It keeps farm fun pushing to do big damage. Stop trying to make classes cookie cutter.
Pls bring back the old mana tie and chi for Mistweaver. Also would love that we get some rework for chi wave and all the talents that nobody uses for mw, like unwelling.
I would like Mist walk back, Jade Serpent rework, old way of the crane. MW monks needs some serious rework for mythic plus. If we get back Ancient Teaching of the Monastery that would mean we will have low damage again? I am not a big fan of ATOM to keep up essence font and also many times over heals or never heals ranged players. That legendary is not fun at all. MOP or Legion MW would be great. Also some damage buff for us.
I loved mistweaver back in MoP when we had uplift and mana tea along with the chi resource so I hope they go back to roots with that one. If they want to reintroduce the jade serpent statue into a more core design, I think putting more focus into allowing the statue to replicate a spread of renewing mist could greatly expand raid coverage, or it could be the source of spread for essence font. If they want to do something new with it, then perhaps make it have it generate a lotus AoE, similar to druid's efflorescence.
MW should be go to ground zero (MoP sate) and build the pieces back from newer iterations along the way, so this clunky "fist weaving" abomination that kind of a holy paladin but worse goes away. Old school fist weaving with some active elements and an engaging rotation for giving up healing output should be a route down the talent tree (I mean holy priests got a hell of a lot damage talents and i dig that.) and another one is something like the old MoP chi and mana tea based mist spreading raid healing powerhouse. (If we don't get utility at least our healing must be good.) I feel like MW needs the most love from all the monk specialisations, they lost me with the WoD rework and Legion was somehow way worse than that. It really is a shame since i ditched my Priest for the MoP MW, as it was not perfect it felt like a fluid martial artist kind of a healer with strong aesthetics and thematic (mist) and now it is a weird abomination that either spams essence fonts or (as people said) mostly uncontrollable "smart" heals.The windwalker and brewmaster parts were spot on.
As my second go to class windwalker was always fun to play. In SL raiding is just boring so M+ it is and Necro is the best way to go for sure and using spiritual force with tier set makes this talent a choice in big aoe pulls. Doing something along the lines where it maked a certain major skill proc a slight CD to make the up time slightly long on it would make it a worth while shot. Also with tier now Dance of Chi-JI proc with your increased DMG while bonedust is active is a MAJOR aoe boost so making it more of a major CD with a 10 second spam use would awesome.
I disagree with Mistweaver.. instead of "get rid" of current not used talents and focus more on melee, I would prefer an option for efficient build that is not fistweaving... I am bored and tired of fistweaving.. I want to be able to build for range healer instead. That mean that we need some talents that will provide us options for range damage!

Perfect suggestions, especially chi orbit.MW hasn't been my healer of choice for awhile, but I like the suggestion to change the mastery. I was wondering if they would suggest bringing back manual healing orb, but they only agreed in the mastery suggestion. I liked putting a bunch out by the melee stack so they could pop one when they needed them.
Mhm I guess I'm the only one that likes the playstyle around an enabler ability for FistweavingOf course they could bring back eminence from the beginning of the Monk.But the current iteration is good too.Slight adjustments I would prefer are spinning crane kick to also do some healing.Statue to copy any heals as said before with eminence.At least have 2 really distinguished playstyles.
I don’t agree with the MW wishlist at all lol. I don’t want to melee heal and want them to create solid options for strong viable RANGED healing - including ranged damage. I would love to see some essence powers return including Crucible of Flame where we can fire a bolt that can damage or heal.
