Maybe the point I missed from my earlier post is to draw a more explicit comparison to WoD and Legion, where gold inflation really went up. In those expansions, you could make 2-5k gold in about two minutes (7-8x faster than your 15-minute emissaries), by logging on to an alt (all of whom are parked at the mission table), do your missions, and log out again. And since it was so easy, more people did it.Comment by ChivoSad to see it go away =(

That's 3 more than I ever got during Legion. Gonna really miss that buff.Comment by dontkillcasualsParagon boxes (from BFA only, not Legion) give you about 5k gold. If you're doing every emissary every day, you're getting about 1/3 of the way to a paragon box every day. Over the course of the one month the rep buff has been available, you'd expect to earn 10 paragon boxes, resulting in a take of 50k gold.

To get 1 million gold, you'd have to be doing the daily emissary every day on each of 20 characters. And if you're doing that, you're putting in the time it takes to earn that gold properly.
