Good stuff. The choice aspect of the Legiondaries were great (yes I'm aware most people just wanted what simmed the best) and it was the RNG acquisition that sucked. Looking forward to seeing what effects Shadowlanderies give us and see if any of them are something to alter gameplay around.
For leaderboards to become a thing it needs to become more skill based, which means powers cant get out of control, you should get more powerful but you should never consistently one shot everything, the tower needs to scale to high difficulty levels similar to alpha's early 25s where you have to be methodical or you are out.I would like leaderboards, obviously once it is balanced and per SPEC BASIS, since we know demon hunter will roflstomp through it just like visions while casters will suffer.
"Torghast is something completely new for World of Warcraft: an endless mode that shouldn’t devolve into a weekly chore for months on end."Fingers crossed, because thats what visions are right now.
Cool now remove torments a lot of people dont want torments.
Hopefully we get more info on non-Torghast stuff again soon. We've got a few slivers, but every interview lately seems to revolve around Torghast. More lore stuff! Interview the art director! Something!
Please. do not. screw THIS UP.
A way how to keep everyone happy would be to make the torments like a "hard" mode. You can choose to do the version without it, for somehow reduced reward, or do it with torments and get... Something different? While it might be a terrible idea, who knows it's alpha. They might come up with a way how to make torments less tormenting for the weaker classes. Balance them somehow.
Funny because most people that care do watch people who play them, and we see how heavily it affects higher floors.Yeah nobody is gonna get affected in the early noob levels where you roflstomp everything and only require a small amount of effort, once you start going into late 20s and early 30s with floors full of elites, the story is very different.
good so i can go in get my lego and then neevr go back til the next patch . thk god
I'm sorry, I couldn't even read the article after seeing the picture. Sploosh! Hello Daddy! <3
i cant keep up with amount of interviews coming. i really like that XD reminds me of legion times. but i wish it was more structured like back in legion. each dev and they focus on a spcecif subject like Steve Danuser for lore, paul Kubit for quests and kind of tie in with steve's lore, paul Kubit on professions and secrets, Holinka for pvp, ion for everything else, (i forget everyone and what they do)etc.
Yeah because people who might want to push content now will be capped not only on floor difficulty which is the main thing that is supposed to stop you but also RNG torments
