So Alliance have a permanent 50% honor bonus in BGs for being "underrepresented," and now that steaming pile is coming to War Mode too? To encourage faction balance, why don't we just slap a quest in Northshire that insta-levels you to 120 and sets you off with 320 ilvl? Or, to balance out racials, perhaps humans should receive a 12-second immunity in which they can also speak Orcish. Children.
Far too little, far too late. 20% increase to 3 of the most pointless things in this game, rep, gold and AP. They either thought this would be a miracle cure to a completely unbalanced and hemorrhaging system. Or they honestly don't care at all and want to seem like they're doing something about it. And both options are staggering to believe that's what they came up with.
No amount of increased rewards, incentives, etc. Will entice me to turn on War Mode. WPvP isn't fun, and extra rewards/incentives won't make it fun. 🙄Getting corpse camped or insta-killed when landing from a FP by a raid group isn't fun. 😐

Say goodbye to WM then. The rewards for Enlisted can be obtained faster w/o WM. Players who don't normally PvP are not going to join WM for something that they can easily get outside of WM for less the hassle. Now if there was a better incentive to draw in players like honor bonuses and kill count rewards, that might help. Frankly World PvP has been dead since Cataclysm, probably long before that, and all everyone is doing is beating a dead horse to see if they can raise it into undeath instead. I played WM to bodyguard friends trying to level through BfA and what I see most is 120s attacking 110s for easy kills. No one wants to be ganked and the ganking is what killed World PvP in the first place. I think a separate shard needs to be given to max level players so they cant gank anyone under max level and you might see an increase in players for WM.What I really want to see is the WM players Premade listings be separated from PvE Premade listings or grey them out at least so PvE can't queue up for them. There is no point in letting us queue up for WM listings outside of WM. You don't phase to the WM shard as PvE.

And saying that Horde are the sole gankers is silly.I would guess that the problem world gankers are facing is simple: Many many players are playing in specific servers because their friends and/or family play or used to play in that server and that server happened to be PvP, but they don't really care about PvP at all. Gankers now whine because those guys now actually have the possibility to not be their easy prey. That simple projection explains the problem, but how to solve? Easy peasy, and they have the tools... they just have to create AI players with random but believable names. World gankers would gank those dumb pieces of code and they would be happy and sleep content with their awesomeness. The rest of the world would be able to do their business and the world (of warcraft) would be a better world.
I can't believe they didn't learn from the PvP faction imbalance fiasco from years ago. Back in WoTLK, virtually every pvper was Horde. in response to this, they decided to massively increase the power of Alliance pvp racials. Nobody went Alliance. Why? because just like the raiding scene, the top is an extremely tight knit community. Self segregating from that is the death of your play experience.Years later, the PVP community on ArenaJunkies decided to go Alliance for a change of scenary. So ALL of them went Alliance. What was Blizzards response? Massively buff Horde racials. Guess what it didn't fix? Thats right. Nobody went Horde.Then, years after that, they all decided to move again.Blizzard has been chasing the PvP community in exactly the same way they chase the raiding community, with pathetic racial buffs and nerfs when NO ONE SANE would ever choose a slightly or even massively overpowered racial in favour of having 1/100th the amount of people to play with.And here they're doing it again. WHO CARES IF I CAN GET 30% MORE REWARDS? I'm still going to be ganked by 4 players every 30 seconds. I'm still going to arrive at a world quest and see 7 horde players while there by myself. I'm still going to get ran over by roaming groups of 40 players farming achievements.Blizzard is so out of touch with their game its insane. And it really is obvious why that is when you realise the fact that Ion Hazzikostas does not PvP (honor level 4, implemented in 2016 and he is still only honor level 4!) and hell, wonder why your mythic+ dungeons play like $%^&? He doesn't do those either. He literally logs on for raid night then logs off. The only other thing he does is 1 mythic+ per week.I want a game director that actually plays the game. Its impossible to balance something you don't even use. You can't understand its issues or its strengths. You have to rely 100% on interpreting the feedback of others.
The only fix for world pvp is to either make it free for all or make war mode something you have to queue to enter. There is no other real solution and this isn't even enough to be considered a band-aid. 10% more gold/ap/resources/exp isn't really a big deal, but they should remove the rewards on principle simply so one side doesn't just get extra stuff for little to no risk. I say this as someone that plays both sides equally.
