I don't care about them blocking LFG addons. The tool is in the game, you don't need addons for that.I only thought they kinda butchered the tool for players that DIDN'T use addons, like me, but people still make addons to counter the changes anyway. So only the ones playing the intended way are "punished". However they seem to have made a few changes the past few days and now we have some features back, like automatically creating groups for elite WQ and auto-accept for those quests (even though auto-accept is not available otherwise).
Well all the people who said they rarely saw the 'freeloaders' in WQ group were certainly very lucky, I saw them all the time. While I understand this is an MMO and supposed to be social, I find that most people who are social in this game tend to be rude and belligerent, the drawback of faceless internet interactions that cause people to be as toxic as they can. I initially was dismayed about the disabling of the group finder options but the more I think about it, the more I'm okay with it. I can still search for people if I really need help with a quest, they haven't removed that ability. I know it sounds snarky and please forgive me if so but this interview is full of grammatical errors. Just a heads up to whoever is transferring spoken words to written.

I understand why people like group addons, it makes completing quests ridiculously easy and fast, you often don't even need to do anything at all and group completes the quest for you... I mean, some things are just too much and this is one of them...but maybe instead of forbidding this functionality, they could do it as with XP, divide the reward between the group members, less effort, smaller reward...or I remember a system from Guild Wars 2 where people were given bronze/silver/gold medal for "world quest" based on their participation and reward was based on the medal, so afk or not that active players werent given much while active players got full reward, I think it wasn't bad idea :)
On player housing, it would be awesome to have housing like in Wlidstar. They had amazing housing.

Absolutely terrible response. This is going to make me less social, not more. Why would I waste time navigating their clunky interface when I could just get started on the quest? It's quite blatant that this is only to slow down completing the same world quests for the twelve dozenth time. If they wanted people to still spam chat for groups, they should have never added LFG in the first place./4 LF2M H HoS, need TANK + HEALS and g2g...
BUT it's AN ADDON that people CHOOSE to download. THEY ACCEPT the fact that some people in their auto-formed groups WILL go AFK and NOT contribute. IF you DON'T want to risk having leechers in your group, you can always make YOUR OWN GROUP or PLAY SOLO. BUT it's so much easier to remove the whole option, right? I was expecting something like this tho, it was too good of a feature. I wonder what's next on the cutting board....
I don't really mind the removal of WQGF, but the removal of Auto-accept is just... wtf.

rofl @ the lfg comment. news flash: people are still going to make a group and not do the whole quest themselves. all you guys are doing is artificially making it slower for no reason.i am sure next go round they will start making the quests scale to number of players in the group...
The biggest issue with those auto-completed groups was they would quickly hit the tag limit on normal mobs and never leave. I don't know how many times I had to wait for a half hour or more trying to complete a Kill x amount WQ cause of cross realm groups hanging around capping the tag limit on every mob cause the group leader was AFK floating overhead and his party of 5 would just rotate through players FOR HOURS. It's really annoying and it was abusing the system and I'm glad to see the auto-accept go. The only people upset about this are the lazy people who don't want to quest they just want to log in, have other people do the work for them, and get their reward and log out.
This LFG change is BS and we weren't even given a valid reason for the change.
