Sabellian, 110%. Pleeeease Blizzard, for once don't do the obvious thing and make it Wrathion. :(
Sabellian takes the Black Dragonflight, Wrathion goes on to create the White Dragonflight of course. Easy, everyone happy, give me my white Dragonriding skin.
Any Horde player that trusts Wrathion after MoP needs their head examined. He's far too duplicitous to be trusted.Sabellian is the correct choice by default.
I'm expecting Sabellian to get obsessive over it and be a little radical. But then ultimately sacrificing himself. I really wish that muh boi Ebyssian would be interested, but it is what it is. Also I hope that strictly the lack of unique model for Sabellian and Ebyssian aren't just spoilers and they add something later. No point in making a unique skin if you're not gonna continue with it right?
Wrathion because he is cooler. Charisma is the most important thing for a leader.
I like Sabellian more but he's still has the Old God taint. It's only a matter of time before the Old Gods get their grasp on him. He was fine for a long time because he was away from the Old Gods for decades in Outland.
Sabellion because he isn't a petulant p*ss child unlike wrathion
The guy on the box art of all the dragon aspects is gonna be the dragon aspect. Simple as.
They are both trash
For some reason I know NOTHING about Sabellian and been hit with Wrathion lore since pandas so I vote Wrathion.
Lets not forget the HUGE amount of Little implications that we're going to see Old God stuff be relevant through this expansion. Nzoth having new lines in the past when we went there to save chromie and eternus, void giving free gold, one of the primal incarnates probably being old god slave. Sabellians Brood is almost certainly not as safe as people might think.TL:DR If Sabellian gets Aspect Powers we're looking at Deathwing 2.0.
Sabellian!
What biased trash this article is. If you can't ignore Sabellian's crimes you can't ignore Wrathion starting two world wars either. Screw him. His defense of Azeroth nearly destroyed it but sure, he has Azeroth's defense at heart.
Sabellian doesn't even have a unique dragon model, so he's clearly out./s
I feel like this thread overlooks far too many of Wrathion's many mistakes. Here's one that people seem to forget about: During the events of battle for Azeroth: Wrathion insisted that we allow Ny'Alotha to enter the chamber of heart in order to build the Horrific Vision simulator.Magni said that this was madness! But Wrathion insisted that it was necessary. Magni turned out to be right, of course. N'Zoth's power was too strong for the chamber's defenders to fight back against. There was no way to stop them. N'Zoth was about to take over Azeroth's heart, corrupt Azeroth into a void Titan, and win. Ending the universe in the process. If Ra-Den had not been on hand to sacrifice himself to close the rift, Azeroth and the universe would have been destroyed. And we lost a Titan Keeper just as valuable as Tyr or Odyn, All because Wrathion thought he knew everything. How many times is that Wrathion has almost gotten Azeroth destroyed now? Two? Three? He's more of a threat to Azeroth than Deathwing was at this point.
I feel like the "tradition" of the Aspect leading the Flight no longer serves the Blacks. Wrathion's focused more on fulfilling the role the Titans intended for the Blacks and safeguarding Azeroth, while Sabellian's done more on preserving the Flight while hiding on Outland. Wrathion for Aspect, Sabellian for Leader of the Flight (though I doubt Sabellian would appreciate that distinction without the power of being an Aspect).. I wonder, could the two contenders "share" the Aspect power?
Failing to decide on a singular leader, i could see the two coming to terms and working as joint leaders. Sebellian would be "the" leader when it comes to big decisions, he'd be the face of the flight when all the leaders come together, and in general would run the flight. Knowing the other's liking of working with the horde and alliance races, Seb would want Wrathion to take charge there.Wrathion on the other hand would be the "get stuff done" leader. Taking the example of the djaradin, as mentioned before, Wrathion would be the field leader of sorts, spearheading the operations against the djaradin, giving us the players our orders.Basically both would realize the other excels at what they themselves fail at and agree to work together. Hell, if Ebonhorn were made leader, I could see him making the two do those very things.
Honestly feels like they are hammering in Sabellians "super duper pinky swear!" promise he and his are free of corruption. No you cant ask how he did or, or to prove it, just trust him for realsies! Wrathions previous issues as pointed out are a liability despite his ability to learn from them. Both also would seem to refuse to acknowledge the other and that could cause trouble in either case going forward. Ebyssian despite his only recent connection to Dragons is the 'unifying' candidate who is verifiably free of any corruption and not prone to short sighted action.
Personally, my hope is that we're wasting our time between Wrathion and Sabellian, and the crown, so to say, goes to Ebonhorn. But knowing Blizz, whoever win, ends up corrupted or something, and we gotta kill both Wration and Sabellian before Ebonhorn will accepted his role.
