Yea, that's a DMCA waiting to happen.edit: he's been at it for a while. I dunno how they haven't hit him already.
This dude is really good, puts a very nice fun spin on the Warcraft Lore. Strongly suggested! ^^
Legally, if you do a cover of a song you're supposed to pay a licensing fee to the copyright owner. Fan creators can and have gotten C&Ds from the IP owners, and that's in spite of the fact that art and fanfic can be considered transformative works. Reading a book? Not so much with the transformative part.
Yeah it's not a verbatim reading, far from it. It retells the story, but in his own words more or less.
Danuser listening to these videos: "Wait.... this game has a story?"
What about parody? like the Dumb Starbucks episode of Nathan for You, it seems many copyright issues can be swept aside under the guise of making a parody or humour of it. "UK Copyright Law, implementing the EU Copyright Directive, provides an exception to copyright 'for the purposes of caricature, parody or pastiche'"just a copypaste of the first line of the first thing that came up when i googled
Oh I really like this.It reminds me of Emperor TTS
I absolutely LOVE Flying Buttress' take on the books. He doesn't cover everything in them & his extra comments & anecdotes are wonderful. Highly recommend his channel. Also, he helps out on many of hirumaredx videos: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCap5sQEW2w7aoM2ehCdNVNQ which I also highly recommend. Wonderful content creators, very informative!
hardly animated and noone cares about those books but I hope they had fun making it. like it looks better in the reader's imagination, why change it with cheap visuals.
This guy is really great. Been a subscriber to his YouTube channel for some time and it is worth it.
