Every patch I'm forced to play specs I abhor. In BFA S01 I was forced to main a Blood DK and Disc priest, as other tanks or healers would not get invited to high mythic+, for obvious reasons. Now I'm forced to main vDH, as they are 99% of the top 1000 tank spots, and people don't invite your other tanks even when you outRIO them by 1000 rio. My prot warrior sits in his covenant, collecting dust, along with my holy priest and other characters. We are not talking about minor differences. It's day and night. I'm tired of being forced to play in ways that I don't like - and that's not saying anything about the current state of the 35 anima and 2.5 items per 20 people per raid boss reward structure and complete lack of content or forcing people to play a boring and ugly Torghast. My sub expired, and I'm not subbing to this dumpsterfire probably until the next expansion, which I might not even buy, as we got 2 abhorrent, disgusting expansions in a row now, and I have completely lost trust in Blizzard's leadership and developers to create a game I, my friends, or people I would like to play with would enjoy.I'm confident that WoW and Blizzard was saved by covid. The playerbase would not be half this much if people weren't forced to sit in their homes.
I'll keep playing BM with my cutie floofs and outperforming guildies playing better classes with superior gear regardless of its Mythic level ranking because I enjoy it.
So dissatisfied with my destro warlock worked really hard to do all the homework to make it workable..my frost mage is fine..now just working to see how I feel with my elemental shaman right now im not at lvl 50 yet.but shoot. I have tried diff talent combos and im still really struggling..And im chose necrolords..cannot stay alive to save my own life nothing seems to work not the covenant ability not the regular shaman abilites I have no idea what to do?...Im still going to try tho but my patience is running low..
Real talk: Nobody has ever really wanted to play a Melee Hunter. It's time to rework Survival entirely, just like they did with "Combat" Rogues.
The class writer analysis is the worst part of this, I'm disappointed with the quality of hunter and warrior in particular. Base dismissal and hostility. Mathematical balancing isn't the goal when overcoming player mentality is part of it too. Being offended that trinkets and autos aren't affected feels like they don't even understand their task. Lazy and petulant.
Never see such a poor change management, it takes too much time, as example the torghast alt buff should have been implemented day 1.1.) Class balancing, (it is always an issues) as example play yourself an Warrior, DH, Rogue, DK ... , have this feeling, if you queue up on the browser you getting refused, hear the flames, if the raidlead ask you, hey you were AFK ..... just play the game and learn how the classes (we) feel like. This changes are like a punsh into your face. 2.) Just kicked out and replace those responsible persons with a other who have a better class understanding AND decision-making power .Warcraftlogs says, hey that's not enough, the numbers should have been doubled. Alternatively read your own forums what your subscriber say and ask for. We're those who play your salary and if people are unhappy, they leave the game ...... Cheers
Would be excellent when these are compiled if there is also the views of all pvp guides or players perspectives as well since its for both. To me as a pvp player a lot of the things found here dont actually apply (example: warriors buffs which are insane in pvp vs bottom of the barrel in pvp). Thank you
when you talk about survival you should know that it's a spec that had like the lowest population on it since legion, why some people says it should not be reworked? i really enjoyed how explosive shot worked in the past in survival and i really miss that, nearly every spec blizz changed the base has failed, look how cool mist monks were in the panda and dreanor and how pathetic they are now,,look at the demonology..
Havoc needs to be changed so that it gives a buff to single target. Such as putting it on a target and still attacking that target directly increases the damage of incoming abilities. This way its a boost to single target damage without influencing cleave.
What about war prot changes ?We deal no single target damage compared to DH and Paladins (i did a raid with my DH yesterday which is 201 and i performed equal DPS to our MT1 warrior main which is 215... lol, and my warrior 220 deal almost equal damage). Our gameplay is very defensive nowadays except if we want healers to become totally crazy, Ignore pain in +15 is broke in 1 sec which means we must refresh it everytime and we cannot really use revenge to refresh it a bit using the covenant buffs.... It works only on bosses where we don't have rage because our gameplay in monotarget is just painful. And at the end of dungeons i see that i have 2K heal overall (fine) and 2K dps overall, whereas paladins & DH perform at 4k, which means that we loose 10% of the key DPS generally due to the war tank, and the timer.offtanking as warrior in raid is also totally wtf. We when offtank Nathria sludgefist HM boss we have no rage and we take more damage than MT1 without possibility to reduce them because rage is not generated when we are hit by the second tank boss skill (and we are two warriors in our R1 in our guild, we have the same problem when we switch)Increase our single target damage omg, and do something with ignore pain. Also MM+ is just kitting, which means warrior cannot generate rage because he doesn't hit very well, unlike DH, pal, DK, etc etc....
*cries in feral*
This lazy patch, they intend to play their game to realize that the biggest problem is not the damage but mechanical. In Assassination the problem comes from the regen nrg and to a lesser extent the SnD in our cycle, but nothing is done ...
I agree with his synopsis on the 3% DH Buff. Its not going to fix anything at all. We need CS buffed by like 25%
The buffs for HDH or Frostmage were clearly needed, but we all feel Blizzard being nervous whenever buffing a class. To me this is why they are too careful when buffing a spec. Obviously they don't want to overtune something so they buff the speccs only in little steps. Not only to make such specs like HDH as overpowered as he was in BfA endgame but also to see how different buffs make the speccs perform and shift the meta a little without breaking it. Stat-check classes aren't easy to balance because of their growing strengh whenever their ilvl is raised. Me as a Frostmage main would love to see some more tweaks to get back to higher meta but it's clear that this might take some more weeks. I also think that maybe the classes itself aren't the main issue in all cases but also the Pact abilities who need a little balance. Some classes are forced to pick their one and only pact while all others are clearly less efficient. Of course it will be hard to balance this to expand the pact selection for some specs, but this might be needed, too.
