I rly liked the CGI Parts of the first Movie (just the human actor part felt super cringe). If they would make a more serious version (just let the guys who made the CGI parts do the writing :3).
It wasn't all the tons of orc and human plots that killed the Warcraft movie for me, it was the direction of that team to "creatively develop" the movie resulting in so many events that were drastically different from established game lore. Having Dalaran seen floating before it was supposed to be, Garona sadly killing Llane because there was "no other choice" as opposed to the way she actually did it which was without Llane even knowing about it...the whole movie was just off the meter in terms of lore accuracy, plot quantity had nothing to do with it. If the same team tries an Arthas movie they will butcher the hell out of it unfortunately. Why they can't just tell the dang story as it has already been told is beyond me.
Who do you think would be a better candidate, Chris Hemsworth with long hair or Henry Cavill? Now is a question ...
this is friggin awesome and needs to happen and imo knowing how henry cavil is who he is i doubt he would say no to this :D
Henry Cavill in my opinion is a flawless actor and could master any roll !Love to see more Warcraft movies.
Okay yea, other actors exist, but you must be blind. All you need to do is look at the mockup. He'd make a super accurate arthas.
Cavill would make an excellent Arthas, in my opinion. They should have made the first movie about the Arthas storyline. Trying to explain the Orc invasion to Azeroth without touching the subject of the Burning Legion (which is way too big and complicated for people not into Warcraft) was bound to be a rocky ride. Still, I like the first movie for its many little details, even when they had to tell the overarching story in a non-canon, "wrong" way. Maybe there will be a new movie at some point after all, I'd like that one to be about Arthas.
I cannot think of a better casting.
Never liked the Arthas model in WC3 reforged due to how off it looked.Cavil looks about as good as you could get irl with his, at risk of sounding like some gushy fan, chiseled facial features and big blocky jaw.I struggle to think of anyone better for the role if they were going to try this. I can understand trying to tell the Warcraft story chronologically and admire the original films attempt to start at the beginning, but maybe starting with the iconic Arthas arc is a better way to establish some strong foundations and interest in a film series, even if it means flicking back and forth chronologically if they expand on the pre-WC3 story at some point.
Charlize Theron or Emma Stone might have the perfect look for playing Jaina Proudmoore too!
Henry as LK? yes!But only if the manuscript for the movie is well written. don't want a *!@#ty LK movie. The first movie had its flaws when it came to the manuscript, story ect.
I don't know, but I don't get the hype, he as superman was good, not great not awesome, just good, as geralt not great nor good, and cast him as Arthas would be a mistake

omgosh..yes! Henry Cavill would be a great Arthas! He plays wow and knows the lore. I loved the World of Warcraft movie but it was shortchanged by the storyline. If they do make this movie then please stick to the lore and this movie will make bank!
epic dream...
Agreed. Perfect candidate. Give us this by 2023 please.
Chris Hemsworth is a better choice for Arthas. But it would be better to choose someone who is closer to Arthas' age at the start of Reign of Chaos, 24. Thrall and Jaina were both also 24 at this time. And a person who would make a great Uther is Chuck Norris. Uther commanded respect as a veteran of the second war and as the first paladin. Chuck also commands a lot of respect. Seeing him in armor carrying a hammer would be epic.
Man i'd love to see him in that role. Not mentioning that he almost missed call for his superman role because of a WoW raid... i bet he'd love the offer too, whether he'd accept it or not.
ooooo.... lets go Blizz !
