Really excited to see what this is going to lead to in game. A raid on Stormwind as a pre-event for the next expansion would be much appreciated. Maybe something there part way in the battle we get news of a new enemy and have to both count our losses and head off to battle elsewhere again. It's been a long while since we had a truely epic pre-patch event. Wrath of the Lich King's was enjoyable as hell and really a unique thing that people will never get to experience again. I hope this ends up being more like that and less of a solo scenario kind of introduction to the next expansion's content.
Oh goodie, another expansion with Horde as the villians where the faction gets slaughtered by the millions. Can we not have a story where the Horde and Alliance are at each others throats or the Horde loses ANOTHER Warchief?
She's not going to get her crusade on Stormwind. The big threat of the next expansion will get in their way; and on top of that, a reunion with her sisters may change her mind.Interesting to see more are coming up like Lillian. They don't want to be that way anymore, and if they can recall past lives, they have now lived two of them. That's enough, haha.Is kind of &*!@ that her personal Legion stuff ended at losing Eyir. We were all wanting more.Do love Christie's pointing out of Sylv's relationship with the others. Especially Saurfang. "I'll kill you or you'll kill me".It's perfect. Also that she's sorry for more on Vol'jin's passing than being given such a weight to deal with.
If the next expansion is going to be a factionwar/south seas thing I really hope Gilneas is put to some use. The Gilneans had a huge navy back in the day, and now Blizz could make it either a naval base/capital city or maybe a new pvp zone (with the naval base stuff in mind).
Damn it, not another faction conflict..
There is a possibilty that she will try to blow up stormwind much like Garrosh did to Theramore, using the energies harnessed by Goblins from the Wound in Silithus. Still, i'm confused about The Whsipers of Ilgynoth, about Anduin the boy-king and " in the hour of her third death, she ushers in, our coming" could it be Sylvanas and not Azeroth? Sylvanas did die twice before, the first by the hands of the Death Knight Arthas, and the second when she threw her self from the top of ICC after the LK's demise. and this teaser was a hint maybe? idk, its just fun to speculate, even that only few hours seperate us from the unveiling of the Truth.
Can't wait to see how it goes next!I expect the Windrunner sisters playing a big part, finally meeting each other. Also, I'm somewhat inclined to believe there's some relationship between the future Stormwind raid and Mythic Garrosh's vision of the harbor.
People are seriously blaming Golden for faction war?For god's sake, people, she wasn't even part of Blizzard's employment roster until a few months ago. Freelance writers aren't given such free reign over the story that they can begin entire story arcs.Anything she has written before (and quite possibly including) this upcoming book has been done with Blizzard giving her a general overview and letting her work on the details. She got Anduin more spotlight because she was able to convince Blizzard he could have a decent storyline. That's the most she has done. She didn't "turn Jaina into a crazy $%^&*" and she's not unanimously starting Cataclysm 2.0.
Guys, the faction war is exciting and all, but don't ignore what the goblin says at the start! He was talking about how Winterspring suddenly got hot? Sounds like a world revamp to me!And they were neutral goblins, as he was from Everlook, so maybe we'll see more Steamwheedle Cartel?
Uh, I got the Goody Bag this year. No sampler. Wut?
More interfaction war? .... really?I hope this time the damn old gods kill us all for our stupidity. Maybe then people will realize that this fighting is a weakness.
Well, this screams that we'll be seeing an armored up Anduin in full Paladin mode. Hope he goes Prot as that was his old mans mistake. Sorry, I had too...If she comes for Stormwind, I hope the Alliance goes for Lorderon. That or Gilneas becomes a full fledged capital city.
Why wouldn't she be? She's clearly been slipping, and for a while now. The Old Gods definitely seem to see her as a tool to be put in power for their sake, sooo.
